Thanks for the reply and information, Pam.  ;0)  I sincerely appreciate it.  I will look up that information and print it out.  Seems we just need to wait a bit longer if you are still waiting... After I posted on here a few days ago, I saw the KSLA information about how Chesapeake is going to be cutting back on the drilling for awhile.  LOL  Wonder how that will affect us.  sigh... ;0)

We have lived in New Iberia since 1997. Working there. Do you have Facebook? If so look me up there. I have lots of pictures and there are quite a few people from the old days there. I hop ya'll get paid. My parents and In-laws both got paid bt Chesapeak last year. They did rather well. Unfortunately, my wife and I have no land there. Great to hear from you. Are you still with Howard? I haven't seen you in years.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
