Hello My fellow shalers Iam very Green with whats going on with the haynesville shale explosion.Me and my family just recently were contacted by some distant cousins who reside in Louisana in pleasant hill.We live here out west in Calif and Arizona.We just recently got our land location which is section 24 sw quarters of the Nw quarters township 10 N range 12 W Sabine parrish L.A. Does anyone have any knowledge of this area or if theres rigs in place and operating.Any information that can be given would be greatly appreicated.AS i mentioned before me and my family are very green but hungry to know more and attain much knowledge as possible in learning about this great find.

There are no producing wells in your section nor is there an existing permit for a future well. The area is productive for the Haynesville Shale and will likely be drilled at some point in the future. In the meantime go to the SONRIS Help Center group here on GHS and learn how to use the state O&G database so that you can check for any activity in the future.
