Can anyone tell me anything about the MCCOY ETAL 9 H well, other than Sonris well report says as of 8-28-09 it is flowing to sales? I've had no correspondence from Chesapeake since the 1st of this year saying it was permitted. My lease runs out this month. Thanks to anyone for information.

Have received division orders, but title has not been cured yet. Then was told orders should not have been sent until title is cured, but to go ahead and sign mine anyway. Chesapeake is ok with keeping funds in suspension for "unlocatable heirs" even though they are aware aware heirship is in question. I am reluctant to sign order that does not have the correct amount of acreage. Any comments appreciated.
Did they say what title problems they encountered in the section? I would figure most of the people have owned property in that section for decades.
Sorry but with a well drilled and waiting you are HBP.
If this is flowing, does anyone know the initial production rates on this well?
Well potential 1,605 mcf per day
Wow, low.
Why isn't this on Sonris?
Go on sonris lite. Do a well search by section, township, range. Click on the McCoy well. On this screen look for the area labeled well test. The Gas del column is what it potentialed at per day.
Thanks very much NA, I overlooked that.

you are right though low. I heard this through the grape vine but someone mentioned the geology wasn't that great in that area.
NA,
If you look on sonris at #239084, the well in 27-11-15, you see a very good well -- 14,868 mcfe/day, with a good pressure. The geology cannot be all bad to make this well.
How many other wells in T11N, R15W hit that kind of production? Also let me clarify a little. I was meaning the area around section 9. Look at sections 11,13,14,15 and possibley 10 when it comes online. All a far cry from the production figures in Section 27. I hope the geologist is wrong and they hit more of those section 27 wells. Unfortunately in the area of section 9 they haven't seen the numbers thus far
