I watch Dept. of Conservation, Sonris, online Desoto courthouse records and the Holly Field is without a doubt the busiest of all fields. Also it is the field getting all the gas factories. Encana, Chesapeak, Encana, Exco, and now El Paso are doing the gas factory concept. Is it because it is so good in the field, or because it is close to major pipelines??

James,

There are several reasons for a well to require a workover rig, in this case I believe it is to install production tubing.  Some operators run production through the 4 1/2 or 5 inch production casing for the first 10 or 12 months, then they come in and install 2 3/8 production tubing inside the casing. This operation requires a workover rig. I have not heard any news on sections 7, 18 or 19, but in due time these sections will have multiple wells.... it just requires a little patience on our part.

Thanks FXEF!
Was any royalties paid on the Land and Knowles well Sec 18 t14 r14 on this month checks?
Yes, July check was paid on May production.
FXEF, ck out the small sign about 1 mile north of Kickapoo Corner on east side (Highway 171). There is going to be a pad entrance there for Sec. 8 I guess?? Unless they are getting ready to do another pad to drill sections 7 & 18. Lots of pickup trucks going in and out

That looks like a house pad,if its the one I  saw!

Looks like they have the form built.

There is a black sign with white lettering on Hwy 171 which should say what is going in there. Pickups are driving down the dirt road. This is on EAST side of 171 up and across from the fire station

KCM is it the workover rig 18 14-14?
no this is a new location
The sign is that of a builder!

kittycatmama,

Someone is building a house, frame work has started to go up. This is not an entrance to a well pad site. Encana will most likely access the section 8 & 17 gas factories from the Long Road, however this is strictly a guess on my part (nothing to confirm).

Thanks I need to call Encana I did not receive anything for Land and Knowles.
