On a related topic, does anyone want to predict the Haynesville rig count by the end of March? I'm predicting 55 rigs
Thanks Les, I look forward to your rig count reports - maybe it will go up with the new year budgets.
Comstock just announce today an updated capital budget and due to low NG prices they are moving their last 2 rigs out of the Haynesville by the end of March. I think you will see other companies revise their 2012 drilling budgets and more rigs will be leaving the Haynesville play.
However this doesn't mean there will be a recovery for NG prices anytime soon as Comstock also announced that they are going to complete 20 Haynesville wells that they drilled in 2011.
