What I find amazing is that expending a distribution pipeline just 2 miles for a thousand customers will cost them an extra $70 per month for 25 years and the utility is kind enough to charge only a…Continue

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. HaynesvillePlay is a pretty decent blog. I don't check it often because I know much of the usual data before Robert Hutchinson does and the rest isn't of interest to me. Hutchinson started out as an early member of GHS. He got his blog started with a good bit of content pilfered off of GHS. As instances of members posting links to his site began Keith offer to do a reciprocal deal to allow Robert's links if he would allow GHS links on HaynesvillePlay. Robert didn't want to do that. The name of the game is number of readers/members/likes and the unethical way to get those is to post a link on a bunch of similar sites. There is no law on the web and if there was, who would enforce it? So the ethics are a choice each webmaster or bloggers must make. On GHS links to about any relevant source is fine except any website or blog that makes money off of advertising. The amount of ad revenue is directly proportional to the traffic. If Hutchinson isn't willing to reciprocate for Keith I don't care to see him get free notice through links on GHS. Now you know. Regards, Skip
