Has anyone who has signed on with the SCC with a non-binding agreement (to allow negotiations on their behalf), heard anything from them? It would sure be nice if someone at the SCC would either set up a website, or at least email out to those who have signed on. It's been a month since we had a meeting with our neighborhood association, where SCC people came and spoke, and no word yet. Also, why is SCC not mentioned anywhere on this site? Especially when it is theoretically the biggest grouping of landowners in the entire Haynesville Shale region.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
