FYI...Got a call yesterday from a group who has a packet of land across a number of areas. They informed me that Petrohawk was meeting with them to discuss a package lease, but at this time they were not interested in Section 28, Township 18N, Range 10W....They were however interested in Township 17 of the same section.

This in one of their many games. If they can devalue your land, then they have won. Their objective is to lease as much land as possible... at the lowest price possible. To do that, they have to convince you that your land is really not valuable to them and they may do you a favor and lease it one day.

The fact is that due to the EXTREME VALUE of this shale and the growing knowledge of the mineral owners in the Haynesville Shale, this play has begun to spiral out of control for the O & G's. They are laying in bed at night thinking of every possible scheme they can imagine to get this thing back under control.

For those people that are not swayed by their scare tactics, continue to gain knowledge, gain strength by joining with neighbors, and are patient... they will reap huge rewards.

I am just fine if they are not interested in my land at this time. I know that my shale did not disolve and is still safely in tact about 12,000 feet below. They will want it in time. I want them to take their time to recoup some revenue, because their going to need DEEP pockets when they get to my place.

When Chesapeake, the largest player in this shale, tells me how they are (1) saving money by reducing the cost of each well drilled, (2) saving money by not having to pay for the pressurizing of this gas, (3) saving money by not having to "clean up" this gas due to the purity, (4) and drilling the largest producing wells in the history of their corporation... I expect to get paid top dollar.

Our Shale is the biggest and best in the United States, and we expect to get paid accordingly.
You said it all, and very well I might add! Who knows, one day NASA might be saying "Natchitoches we have a problem"
