Had a guy come in the store today who said his friend is a landman who is out securing right of way for a circular pipeline around the shale. I asked what size pipe - he said 60 in. Said it would be a wheel, with feeder lines like spokes. Anyone heard of this thing?

Heard on the street that this pipe line has been permitted by Center Point and the company is relocating key personel in the pipeline division for construction. Has anyone heard anything to the like?

I was going over the Common Street overpass this week and saw a train under me with car after car of huge gas pipe on it. It could have been 60 inch very easily. I stopped and took several pics of it to put in my Haynesville Shale book. It was green wrapped pipe for as far as the eye could see!
Regency Energy has announced plans for a NG pipe line in NW Louisiana. Final capacity is to be 1.4BCF per day. 300 mmcfd is to be complete in early 2009. The remaining 1.1bcfd capacity is to be completed in 2009 and go operational in 2010. The announcement was made about 10 days ago. I was able to find this via Google.

The pipe line will initially extend into DeSoto Parish. The second phase will tie into their major trunk line in Logansport. This portion of the pipe line will go through Sabine and points south.

Regency stated that ~75% of the planned capacity was already covered by letters of intent from long term NG suppliers.

All of the above is from memory. Check via Google before betting the farm.
CR, if it is for the gas pipelines then it is 42" pipe.
