leases sold too cheap

Does anyone know of any situation where landowners have been able to void lease agreements when the gas companies paid much less than they should have?

Just hope they stay out of your section until you lease runs out. Then be ready to study and know what you are looking at. Many, Many people are in your same situation and many more are HBP, from some old lease that will get nothing but their 1/5 royalty. It could be worse.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
