whay do you want to know they are drilling this well as we speak

What I was wanting may not be in the "drilling report" I was more interested in what the company applied for to the TRRC. Like how "deep" they were asking to go. And if it says what formation they are drilling into. We have one Well on the unit, which is about 3 years old, and it wasn't all that deep, I was interested in knowing how deep they are planning to go with this one, or if it is a directional hole.

this weeks completion report shows that the eog well north of center that supposedly was a james lime , doesnt appear to be, according to completion info it bottom holed at 13,800. this is not james lime
lime runs maxium 7-8,000 ft out there . whatever formation completed it wasnt that great, test about 900,000
per day 36/64 choke.

If this was a vertical haynesvile completion thats not to bad.

it was a horizonal drill, naybe will find out the real facts , but if it was a 13,800 bottom hole completion this is not a very good report at this depth for the area ,.

Drilling Operations Active Throughout East Texas

DEVELOPMENTAL

ANDERSON COUNTY

Worley Gas Unit Well 1 will be drilled 10.6 miles east of Palestine in a Wildcat Field. O'Benco will drill to 13,000 feet in the Duty, R Survey, A-233.


CHEROKEE COUNTY

Chronister Heirs 52 will be drilled 3.4 miles north of Wells in the Doyle Creek (Travis Peak) Field. drilled by XTO Energy, this well will bottom at 12,800 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-15. The well may also be drilled in the Doyle Creek (Pettit) Field.


Branta Production will drill the Goldman 3 in a Wildcat Field. This well will be 20.4 miles northeast of Rusk at 8,600 feet in the Reese, P Survey, A-727. The well may also be drilled in the Scoober Creek (Travis Peak), Gum Springs, North (Woodbine), Good Springs (Travis Peak), Big Barnett (Travis Peak), Scoober Creek (Pettit), Good Springs, West (Woodbine), the Good Springs (Pettit), Gum Springs (Woodbine), Big Barnett (Pettit) or Big Barnett (Woodbine) fields.


A Wildcat Field will see a new well drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 14,000 feet. Hauserman 2 will be drilled 9.1 miles northwest of Wells in Harrell, L F Survey, A-392. This well may also be drilled in the Decker Switch (Sub Clarksville), Decker Switch (Travis Peak), Decker Switch (Glen Rose), Decker Switch, Southeast (James Lime), Decker Switch (Woodbine) or Decker Switch (Pettit) fields.


Lily Andress 1 will be drilled by Chesapeake in a Wildcat Field. This well will bottom at 14,000 feet, 7.2 miles south of Forest in the Williams, B Survey, A-55. This well may also be drilled in the Decker Switch (Travis Peak), White Oak Creek (Travis Peak) or the Decker Switch (Pettit) fields.


DALLAS COUNTY

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Fellowship 7H in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will be in Coppell in the Gibson, J Survey, A-1716 and will bottom at 9,000 feet.


Ellis County

Moore 3H will be drilled eight miles northwest of Milford in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field by Range Production Co. This well will bottom at 9,000 feet in the Dykeman, C Survey, A-282.


Endeavor Energy Resources will drill the Maypearl Unit Well 1H to 14,000 feet in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will be one mile west of Maypearl in the Layton, F Survey, A-624.


Freestone County

In a lease 3.1 miles southeast of Lanely in a Wildcat Field, the Dunlap "A" Well 1 will be drilled by Valence Operating to 16,000 feet in the Sanchez, A Survey, A-553.


The Adams, J.C. 2 and T.W. Lane 9 will be drilled by Lacy Operations in the Mann, North (Cotton valley Sand) Field. No. 2 will be drilled 0.2-mile northeast of Kirvin to 10,000 feet in the Barbee, J Survey, A-89. No. 9 will be drilled 1.1 miles north of Kirvin to 9,920 feet in the Flint, SP Survey, A-229.


Anadarko Petroleum will drill the Worthy No. 3, 1.8 miles south of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 14,900 feet in the Connelly, I Survey, A-117 and may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field or a Wildcat Field.


Zeno King Gas Unit 4 will be drilled one mile northeast of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field by XTO Energy. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Maul, C Survey, A-442.


Teague (Cotton Valley) Bossier Consolidated) Field will see the Rogers Gas Unit 15 drilled by XTO Energy five miles southeast of Teague in the Lawrence, J Survey, A-364. Total depth will be 13,200 feet.


XTO will drill the Ham Gas Unit Well 26 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet 3.8 miles southeast of Teague in the Lawson, R Survey, A-375.


Gregg County

The P. Russell A Well 2 will be drilled 7.6 miles southeast of Longview in a Wildcat Field. This well will be drilled to 13,200 feet in the Hoover, H Survey, A-91 by Shoco Production. The well may also be drilled in the Sunshine (Lower Cotton Valley) Field.


Harrison County

A Wildcat Field will see the Brown, L.D. 4A drilled by Howell Oil & Gas to 8,500 feet, six miles east of Harleton in the Denton, J T Survey, A-199. The well may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Rodessa), Gooch-Gant (Travis Peak), Hallsville, South (Page) or Hallsville, East (Pettit) fields.


Riverstone Energy will drill the Mann Well 1 in a Wildcat Field to 9,800 feet, 6.4 miles southwest of Waskom in the Hooper, BF Survey, A-296. This well may be drilled in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field.


The K Well 7H will be drilled seven miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. This well will be drilled to 14,000 feet by GMX Resources. The well will lie in the Maximillian, J Survey, A-444 and may also be drilled in Bethany (Pettit 6170), Carthage, North (Cotton Valley), a Wildcat or Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) fields.


In a lease 8.1 miles south of Marshall in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field, the Jossie Taylor Becker Gas Unit Well 7 will be drilled by Brammer Engineering to 10,300 feet in the English, E Survey, A-234.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Steeg Gas Unit 1H in a Wildcat Field. This well will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Spain, ED Survey, A-22. This well will be 7.5 miles northeast of Marshall and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale), Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) or Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) fields.


Lucille Justice Gas Unit 1 Well 3H will be drilled 10.5 miles south of Marshall in Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field by Coronado Energy E&P. This well will be drilled to 16,500 feet in the Monday, S Survey, A-14 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


GMX Resources will drill the Baldwin Well 15H to 14,000 feet in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. This well will be 10 miles southeast of Marshall in the Williams, W Survey, A-757. This well may also be drilled in the Bethany (Pettit 6170), Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) or Wildcat fields.


In a lease 4.3 miles southwest of Hallsville, in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, Baker Gas Unit 1 will be drilled by Craton Energy Holdings to 11,500 feet in the Pedraso, V Survey, A-540.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Crawford Gas Unit 7 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be 13.2 miles southeast of Marshall in the Jacob S. Bennett Survey, A-115 and will bottom at 13,000 feet.


Johnson County

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Una Hyral 3H and Clear Creek 6H and 7H in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. No. 3H well will be 4.5 miles northeast of Cleburne at 9,000 feet in the Mize, D Survey, A-567. 6H and 7H wells will be 14.6 miles northwest of Cleburne in the Mills, T J Survey, A-598 at 9,000 feet.


Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field will see the Moreno, Donna 1H drilled to 9,000 feet by Devon Energy. This well will lie in the Mendoza, U Survey, A-543 6.48 miles southeast of Cleburne.


In a lease 5.03 miles northeast of Cleburne, in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field, Beustring 2H will be drilled by Devon Energy to 9,000 feet in the Mize, D Survey, A-567.


Leon County

In a lease 3.5 miles southeast of Ridge, in a Wildcat Field, Gastar Herren 1 will be drilled by Gastar Exploration to 20,000-feet in Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-17. The well may also be drilled in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier), Hilltop Resort (Knowles) or the Hilltop Resort (Pettit) fields.


Gastar will also drill the Gastar Wildman Trust 5, 6.7 miles southwest of Flynn in a Wildcat Field. This well will bottom at 20,000 feet in the Viesca, JM Survey, A-30 and may be drilled in the Hilltop Resort (Knowles), Hilltop Resort (Pettit) or Hilltop Resort (Bossier) fields.


Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field will see the Black 7 drilled to 15,000 feet by Valence Operating. This well will be 8.3 miles northwest of Jewett in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-19. The well may also be drilled in the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) or the Farrar (Travis Peak) fields.


In a lease 5.9 miles southeast of Centerville, in Centerville, South (Woodbine W-1) Field, the Wallrath Well 1 will be drilled by AF Operating to 8,000 feet in the Midkiff, IJ Survey, A-15 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or Centerville (Woodbine) Field.


EnCana Oil & Gas will drill the Carr, A.D. "A" Unit 2 in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier) Field. This well will bottom at 20,000 feet in the Viesca, JM Survey, A-30, 2.8 miles northwest of Wealthy.


Limestone County

Berry Oil will drill the Doss Gas Unit 28-30 in the Freestone Field (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. No. 28 will bottom at 13,200 feet. No. 29 and 30 will hit 13,700 feet. These wells will be 14.4 miles northwest of Jewett in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


The Alton Sims 28 will be drilled 13.9 miles northwest of Jewett in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 13,900 feet in the Chavert, JL Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Approach Operating will drill TXU Mining Co. North Well 4 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 12,600 feet in the Ellis, WL Survey, A-182. Location will be 8.7 miles northwest of Bald Prairie.


Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field will see the Alton Sims 27 drilled by Berry Oil. This well will be 13.7 miles northwest of Jewett in Chavert, JL Survey, A-4 to 13,900 feet. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Nacogdoches County

Exxon Mobil will drill the Trawick Gas Unit 9 Well 10, 2.88 miles southeast of Cushing in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field. This well will bottom at 9,800 feet in Bennett, Z Survey, A-9 and may be drilled in Trawick (James) Field, a Wildcat or Trawick (Pettit) fields.


Mills 1 and Delgado 1 will be drilled by EOG Resources in a Wildcat Field. The Mills will be 13 miles northeast of Nacogdoches in the Mills, M J Survey, A-407 at 10,500 feet. Delgado will be 13.4 miles northeast of Nacogdoches in the Pantaleon, Hrs. J L Survey, A-448. These wells may also be drilled in Waterman (Travis Peak) Field.


Samson Lone Star will drill the Andy GU 1 Well 1 in Martinsville (Travis Peak) Field. This well will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Hargis, RA Survey, A-689 17 miles east of Nacogdoches. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat, Nacogdoches, East (Pettit) or Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) fields.


Panola County

In a lease 9.4 miles southwest of Tatum, in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the A. Jones GU Well 5 will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum. This well will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Bufford, W Survey, A-67 and may also be drilled in the Beckville (Travis Peak) or Wildcat fields.


XTO Energy will drill the Harris-Drummond 3H to 12,300 feet in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. This well will be 6.9 miles southeast of DeBerry in the Woodley, WH Survey, A-720 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat.


Edens Well 20 will be drilled nine miles west of Carthage in Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field by Chinn Exploration. This well will bottom at 11,200 feet in the Smith, E Survey, A-601.


A Wildcat Field will see the Hickey 2H drilled by Basa Resources. The well will be 4.7 miles southeast of DeBerry in the English, W Survey, A-194. Total depth will be 10,500 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley), Midyett (Pettit Lower), Bethany (Werner), Centennial, East (Cotton Valley) or Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) fields.


Classic Operating will drill Wiener Estate F Well 1 in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be 4.5 miles north of Joaquin in the Gray, R Survey, A-249 and will bottom at 10,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.


Robertson County

Bear Creek 3 will be drilled 13 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bohlwhite (Cotton Valley Lime) Field by Red Willow Production. This well will bottom at 17,000 feet in De La Concepcion Marquez, M Survey, A-25 and may be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


O'Benco will drill Devon Fee 5 Well 1, White Well 2 and the Devon Fee 6 Gas Unit Well 2 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The Devon 5 will be 11.1 miles northwest of Franklin at 12,800 feet in the Smith, WJ Survey, A-336. The White will be 10 miles northwest of Franklin in the Love, JM Survey, A-210. Devon 6 Gas will be 8.5 miles northwest of Franklin in the Love, JM Survey, A-210. These wells may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


The Morgan Creek Village 1 GA Well 2 will be drilled 2.5 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consoli-dated) Field. This well will be drilled by XTO Energy to 16,000 feet in the Tomlinson, A Survey, A-391.


The Redden Unit Well 2 and Meadors Well 6 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas. No. 2 well will be 8.6 miles northeast of Franklin. No. 6 well will be 7.1 miles northeast of Franklin. These wells will bottom at 20,000 feet in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field and will lie in Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32.


XTO Energy will drill the Billy Turner Gas Unit Well 5 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 13,660 feet 15.8 miles northeast of Franklin in the De La Concepcion Marquez, M Survey, A-25.


Rusk County

In a lease two miles northwest of Henderson, in the Minden (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Gray 1 Gas Unit 04 will be drilled by NFR Energy. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Read, J.B. Survey, A-678 and may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley), a Wildcat or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) fields.


Anadarko E&P will drill the Kennedy G.U. 1 Well 11 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will be 21.2 miles northeast of Henderson in the Williamson, R Survey, A-46. Total depth will be 12,000 feet.


The Rives, W.C. 2 will be 5.5 miles southeast of Henderson in the Henderson, South (Pettit -A-) Field. This well will be drilled to 11,000 feet by Basa Resources in the Jackson, W Survey, A-457. This well may also be drilled in the Laneville, Northeast (Pettit, Lower), Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) or Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) fields.


San Augustine County

Southwestern Energy will drill the Timberstar-Hopkins GU 2 Well 5H and 3H to 7,600 feet. These wells will be 5.4 miles north of Attoyac in the Angie (James Lime) Field and will lie in the Hopkins, J H Survey, A-140. The 3H may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Shelby County

The Corbett Well 2H will be drilled by Ellora Operating n the Huxley (6100) Field. This well will be 17.9 miles east of Center in the Hanks, J Survey, A-327 with a depth of 7,500 feet.


NFR Energy will drill Mitchell Trust 1A in the Minden (Cotton Valley Lime) Field seven miles northwest of Timpson in the Ferguson, W Survey, A-225. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley), Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated), Brachfield (Rodessa) or Wildcat fields.


The Joaquin, West (Sligo) Field will see the Strong 1 drilled by Greer Exploration to 5,700 feet. This well will be 2.3 miles east of Joaquin in the Blankenship, J Survey, A-74.


The Grace 2 will be drilled by Complete Vacuum and Rental LLP to 5,500 feet in Joaquin (Gloyd) Field. This well will be 1.9 miles east of Joaquin in the Pettit, K Survey, A-574.


Greer Exploration will drill Pickering 3 in the Joaquin, West (Sligo) Field. This well will be 2.3 miles east of Joaquin to 5,700 feet in the Haight, D S Survey, A-3547.


Wood County

In a lease 1.65 miles northwest of Hawkins, in Hawkins Field, the Hawkins Field Unit Well 1136 and 1063 will be drilled by Exxon Mobil Corp. No. 1136 will bottom at 6,200 feet and No. 1063 will bottom at 6,100 feet. These wells will lie in the Pollock, J Survey, A-449.



COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

McMahon, Richard L. 6 is seven miles west of Buffalo in the Bear Grass Field. Samson Lone Star drilled to 13,348 feet. On a 12/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.544 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.


Gregg County

The Griffin Ranch G.U. 5 Well 3 was completed by Geo-Vest in the Danville Field. This well bottoms at 8,124 feet, 5.5 miles east northeast of Kilgore. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.409 million cf of gas. Production is in the Pettit -A- Oil.


Geo-Vest completed the Griffin Ranch G.U. 1 Well 10 and Griffin Ranch G.U. 7 Well 8 in the Danville Field. No. 10 is 5.1 miles east northeast of Kilgore at 10,776 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.450 million cf of gas. Production is in Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated. No. 8 bottoms at 7,901 feet. No location was recorded. On a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.400 million cf of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated.


On a 16/64-inch choke, the Gladewater Gas Unit 17 Well 21 potentialed 932,000 cf of gas. This well is in Gladewater. EXCO Operating drilled to 10,915 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Harrison County

Hardwood Field has seen Gibson 1 completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. This well was drilled 11.8 miles southeast of Marshall to 12,280 feet. On a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.010 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


There have been four wells completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. Fogle Gas Unit Well 4 is 12.3 miles southeast of Marshall in Hardwood Field at 10,340 feet. This well potentialed 1.777 million cf of gas on a 15/64-inch choke. Bookout Gas Unit Well 8 is 3.7 miles northeast of Crossroads in the Carthage, North Field at 9,960 feet and potentialed 686,000 cf of gas on a 28/64-inch choke. Devon Gas Unit 2 is 7.4 miles west of Marshall in the Woodlawn, Southwest Field at 10,570-feet. This well potentialed 819,000 cf of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. The Lawless Rhoades 14 is 4.4 miles west of Elysian Fields in the Carthage, North Field with a depth of 10,165-feet. This well potentialed 1.101 million cf of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley for all four.


Berry Oil completed two wells. The Meek-Haynes Unit 8 is 10 miles south of Marshall in the Darco, Southeast Field at 11,910 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.048 million cf of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley. The Meek-Haynes Unit 8 is 10 miles south of Marshall in the Carthage, North Field at 11,910 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.137 million cf of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale.


NFR Energy completed the Bartley Well 01 in the Carthage, North Field. This well is 10.5 miles southeast of Marshall at 11,363 feet. This well potentialed 1.358 million cf of gas on 45/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier Shale.


The Bivins Gas Unit 1 Well 10, Loftis Well 4 and Reese Well 1 have been completed by Valence Operating. No. 10 is 3.2 miles northeast of Easton in Oak Hill Field at 12,343 feet and potentialed 529,000 cf of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. No. 4 is five miles northwest of Easton in the Oak Hill Field at 12,679 feet and potentialed 464,000 cf of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. No.1 well is 3.8 miles southeast of Darco in Darco, Southeast Field at 11,977 feet and potentialed 697,000 cf of gas on a 24/64 inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Hill County

Forest Oil completed Cornerstone 1H and 3H in Newark, East Field. 1H bottoms at 11,956-feet, 5.01 miles southeast of Whitney. On a 2/64-inch choke, it potentialed 853,000 cf of gas. 3H bottoms to 11,877 feet, 5.05 miles south of Whitney. On adjustable choke and potentialed 955,000 cf of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.


Gus Jones 1H is 6.4 miles southeast of Whitney in the Newark, East Field. This well bottoms at 10,675 feet and was drilled by Forest Oil. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 408,000 cf of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.


In a lease 16.52 miles northwest of Hillsoboro in Newark, East Field, the James Conn IV Well 1 was completed to 10,684 feet by Devon Energy. On a 20/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.992 million cf of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.


Quicksilver Resources completed Shelby North Well 1H in Newark, East Field 2.6 miles southeast of Blum. This well bottoms at 7,268 feet and potentialed 1.104 million cf of gas On a ï¾¾-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.


Nacogdoches County

Barrett-Charles GU 1 Well 1 was completed three miles south of Cushing by Samson Lone Star to 10,050 feet in the Trawick Field. This well potentialed 1.466 million cf of gas on a 31/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit.


On a 0.75-inch choke, the Trawick GU 9 Well 9-C potentialed 912,000 cf of gas. This well was completed 2.82 miles southeast of Cushing in the Trawick Field to 8,927 feet by Exxon Mobil Corp. Production is in the Pettit.


Samson Lone Star completed the J&A Durham GU 1 Well 2 and Lola D GU 1 Well 6 in the Douglass, West Field. The .2 is 9.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches at 10,215 feet and potentialed 2.538 million cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. No. 6 is 11 miles northwest of Nacogdoches at 10,068 feet and potentialed 2.019 million cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.

Panola County

The Holland Gas Unit No. 1 Well 4-T was completed by Craton Energy in the Carthage Field. This well bottoms at 10,088 feet and potentialed 553,000 cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Chevron completed the Beall, W. F. Well A-10 in the Carthage Field to 8,150 feet three miles east of Beckville. On an adjustable choke it flowed with 14.26 barrels of crude. Production is in the Travis Peak 6400.


The Richardson A Well 2H is 13.10 miles east of Carthage in the Carthage Field. This well was completed by St. Mary Land & Exploration to 12,205 feet. On a 128/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.675 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Carthage Field has seen Sterrett Well 18 completed by Valence Operating to a 11,705 feet. This well is 3.8 miles northeast of Beckville. On a 46/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 624,000 cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Ona 64/64-inch choke, the Preston Hart 2 potentialed 1.992 million cf of gas. This well was completed 1.25 miles north of Joaquin in the Joaquin Field by Classic Operating. This well bottoms at 8,250 feet with production in the Travis Peak.


Robertson County

Landers 1 is 11.1 miles northeast of Franklin in Hilltop Resort. This well was completed to 18,500 feet by EnCana Oil & Gas On a 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 17.007 million cf of gas. Production is in the Bossier.


Rusk County

Samson Lone Star completed the Cash Harrison 1 in the Trawick 5.5 miles southwest of Mt. Enterprise to 8,725 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.090 million cf of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.


Lake Gas Unit 1 Well 10 is five miles southwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. Forest Oil completed the well to 11,326 feet. On a 26/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.031 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field has seen the O.E. Flanagan 2 completed by Princess Three Operating 0.5-mile east of Henderson at 10,870 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 860,000 cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Fidelity Exploration & Production completed three wells in Brachfield, Southeast Field. The Black Stone Minerals G.U. 1 Well 17 is 3.41 miles northeast of Minden at 10,981 feet and potentialed 1.248 million cf of gas on a 32/64-inch choke. Harrell Gas Unit 2 Well 7 is 2.29 miles northeast of Minden at 10,915 feet and potentialed 2.985 million cf of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. Harrell Gas Unit 2 Well No.14 is 2.17 miles northeast of Minden at 10,910 feet and potentialed 3.057 million cf of gas on a 40/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


On a 20/64-inch choke, Perry Thompson Gas Unit 1 Well 12 potentialed 1.371 million cf of gas. Verado Energy completed the well to 10,627 feet in the Oak Hill Field. Location is 5.9 miles southeast of Elderville. Production is in Cotton Valley.


The Rio Well 3 is 1.90 miles northwest of Minden in the Minden Field. This well was completed to 11,200 feet by PMO. On a 12/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.851 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.


Shelby County

The McSwain Well 5 is 8.5 miles southwest of Center in Stockman Field. Devon completed the well to 12,270 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.100 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


EOG Resources completed the Adams, John W. Well 1 in a Wildcat Field. This well bottoms at 13,872 feet, 5.9 miles northeast of Center. On a 34/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 903,000 cf of gas.


On a 12/64-inch choke, the Robert Griffin Gas Unit Well 5 potentialed 635,000 cf of gas. O'Benco completed the well to 12,368 feet .6-mile southwest of Stockman in the Stockman Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Smith County

In a lease seven miles souther of Starrville in the Chapel Hill Field, the Clark Estate 1 was completed by Samson Lone Star to 8,717-feet and potentialed 71,000 cf of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit.


Upshur County

The Abbott Gas Unit O/A Well 02 is five miles northwest of Ore City in the Cedar Springs Field. Apache Corp. completed the well to 9,522 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 82,000 cf of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak 9000.

Yippee...they are finally showing the John W Adams well numbers. This is so very close to our survey, and we have been waiting for numbers.

"TIPS FOR GUESSTIMATING WELLHEAD PRODUCTION- Wellhead production is typically measured in Millions of Cubic Ft. Thus a lower producing well might be .75MMcf per day. On a higher end of the scale, wellhead production might be closer to 6.5 MMcf per day."

Matt Thompson Gas Well To Be Drilled North Of Lufkin

DEVELOPMENTAL

Anglelina County

Matt Thompson Gas Unit Well 3 will be drilled 11.5 miles north of Lufkin in the Riverview (Travis Peak) Field. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet by Ovation Energy and will lie in the Durst, J Survey, A-198. It may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Encana Oil & Gas will drill the Wiener Well 2 to 16,000 feet in the Raintree (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well will be 2.92 miles northeast of Pollock. The well will lie in the L. C. Ritchey Survey, A-863.


Ellis County

The Maypearl Unit Well 2H will be drilled one mile west of Maypearl in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. Endeavor Energy Resources will drill to 14,000 feet in the Layton, F Survey, A-624.


Freestone County

In a lease 3.5 miles northeast of Teague, in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Hale Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by XTO Energy to 13,100 feet in the Hale, J Survey, A-294.

The W.L. Rudd Gas Unit Well No. 10 will be drilled by Devon Energy in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be 1.9 miles southwest of Waskom in the Wilson, TD Survey, A-809 at 13,000 feet. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Penn Virginia Oil & Gas will drill the Alice Furrh Gas Unit Well No. 2 in a Wildcat Field, 1.4 miles west of Elysian Field, at 12,000 feet. In a lease 12.9 miles southeast of Marshall, Fogle Gas Unit Well No. 7H is being prepared for 13,000 feet in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale). The operator will be Penn Virginia Oil & Gas, and the well will lie in the Wray, JS Survey, A-759.


Samon Lone Star will drill the Woodley GU 1 Well No. 2H to 13,000 feet. The well will be four miles northwest of Elysian Field in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Smith, W Suvey, A-21.


The Shoults Well No. 1 is being prepared by Rivers Energy Operating to 10,400 feet. The well will be l9.6 miles northwest of Marhsall in a Wildcat Field. The well will lie in the Trydle, J Survey, A-707. This well may also be drilled in the Harleton, North-East (Pettit) Field, Harleton South (Cotton Valley) Field, Hallsville, Northeast (Cotton Valley) Field, Little Cypress Bottom (Pettit) Field, or Hallsville, Northeast (Pettit) Field.


NFR Energy will drill the Bartley Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 13,000 feet. The well will be five miles southwest of Crossroads in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. The well will lie in the Monday, S Survey, A-14.


Buffco Production will drill the Albert Key Well No. 1 to 12,500 feet in a Wildcat Field. The well will be 7.5 miles south of Marshall and will lie in the Maximillian, J Survey, A-444. This well may also be drilled in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field, Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field.


Henderson County

XTO Energy is preparing to drill the Hinton Gas Unit Well No. 15 and No. 16 to 12,000 feet in the Tri-Citites (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will be 3.9 miles southeast of Malakoff and will lie in the Santos Sylvester Survey, A-694. This well may be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Johnson County

The Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field will see Chesapeake Operating drill to depth of 9,000 feet. The Otra Baca B Well No. 17H will be drilled 5.9 miles southwest of Cleburne in the Jackson CSL Survey, A-435.


EOG Resources will drill four new wells in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field to 10,000 feet. The Southard Farms Unit 5H and 4H will be drilled 5.4 miles northwest of Joshua in the Leonard, JR Survey, A-510. The Schultz B Unit 2H and 3H will be drilled six miles southwest of Godley in the HT&B RR Co. Survey, A-422.


The Griswell Well No. 1H will be drilled 7.77 miles northeast of Cle-burne in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 9,000 feet in the Jones, WE Survey, A-450 drilled by Devon Energy.


Chesapeake Operating will drill the Fosberg Well No. 5H to 9,000 feet. The well will be 10.5 mile northeast of Cleburne in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The well will lie in the Kimbell, A G Survey, A-479.


In a lease 2.4 miles north, Che-sapeake will drill two wells to 9,000 feet in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will the Chevy 2H and 3H. Both wells will lie in the Mc Neill, H Survey, A-565.


Arrington, David H. Oil & Gas Inc. will drill the Platinum Blonde Well No. 1H and 2H in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will be six miles east of Lillian in the Neilson, H Survey, A-658 and will bottom at 8,500 feet.


The McKee Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled 1.6 miles southeast of Keene in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Carter, W Survey, A-149 drilled by XTO Energy.


In a lease 3.5 miles north of Cleburne, Chesapeake Operating will drill the Johns Manville Well No. 8H. The well will bottom at 9,000 feet in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The well will lie in the BBB&C RR CO Survey, A-89.


Devon Energy will drill the Griswell No. 3H-5H to 9,000 feet in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will be 7.8 miles northeast of Cleburne in the Jones, WE Survey, A-450.


Leon County

Apache Corporation will drill the Ellis Gas Lease Well No. 1 to 9,000 feet in the Branton (Rodessa) Field. The well will be 3.7 miles southwest of Jewett in the McIntire, W Survey, A-538. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Limestone County

In a lease 14 miles northwest of Jewett, in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 33 will be drilled by Berry Oil Co. This well will bottom at 13,700 feet in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Nacogdoches County

Valence Operating will drill the Ruth Stewart Well No. 1 in the Martinsville (Travis Peak) Field to 15,000 feet. This well will be 3.7 miles southeast of Martinsville in the J.I. Y'Barbo Survey, A-60. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, the Nacogdoches, East (Pettit) Field, the Kendrick (Travis Peak) Field, the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field, the Mar-tinsville, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field or the Nacogdoches Field.

EOG Resources will drill the H.T. Smith Well No. 1 in the Waterman (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be drilled 14.6 miles northeast of Nacogdoches in the Martin, J D Survey, A-397 and will bottom at 11,000 feet.


The Hailey GU 1 Well No. 1 will be drilled 6.5 miles southwest of Cushing in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field by Samson Lone Star and bottom at 12,000 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-27. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field or the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field.

The Joe Bailey Hillin Well No. 1 will be drilled three miles southwest of Fairplay in a Wildcat Field to 12,500 feet in the Harris, S M Survey, A-300 by Goodrich Petrol-eum Co. The well may be drilled in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field or the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field.


Coronado Energy E&P will drill the T. Lynch Gas Unit Well No. 7 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will bottom at 13,000-feet 16.6 miles northeast of Carthage in the Mimms, SW Survey, A-449.


The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Graves Estate Well No. 13 drilled by Devon Energy. This well will be 7.2 miles southwest of Carthage in Parker, M Survey, A-527 and will bottom at 12,500 feet.


In a lease 5.4 miles southwest of Clayton in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Fite Well No. 1 will be drilled by Ark-La-Tex to 9,950 feet in the Davis, H Survey, A-157.

Robertson County

In a lease 14.8 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the TXU 5 Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by O'Benco to 12,800 feet in the Allen, E Survey, A-57. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Rusk County

Sojitz Energy Venture will drill the White Well No. 3 in the Brach-field, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Fi-eld. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet, 11 miles southeast of Rusk in the Watkins, A H Survey, A-855.


The J.O. Poovey Well No. 2 will be drilled by Enervest Operating 3.39 miles east of Minden in the Lyons, D Survey, A-506 and will bottom at 12,000 feet. The well will be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field.

El Paso E&P will drill the Cobra #1 Well No. 5 in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will be 6.3 miles southeast of Henderson in the Weathers, A Survey, A-864 and will bottom at 11,200 feet.


Energen Resources will drill the Hutchings, J. Unit Well No. 20 to 11,000 feet. The well will be 5.4 miles northwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Lee, I Survey, A-17.


Shelby County

The CCB (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Hairgrove Well No. 1 drilled by Mustang Drilling four miles east of Timpson in the Gray, A Survey, A-241 to 11,310 feet. This well may also be drilled in the CCB (Travis Peak) Field or a Wildcat Field.


XTO Energy will drill the Ronnie Borders Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 13,500 feet in the Huxley (6100) Field. This well will be 9.8 miles southeast of Center in the Rusk CSL Survey, A-591 and may also be drilled in the Huxley (Travis Peak) Field.


The Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Ramsey Unit Well No. 2 drilled by Devon Energy. This well will be 12.9 miles southwest of Center in the Byfield, H Survey, A-39 to 15,000 feet. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Noble Energy will drill the L.M. Harris Jr. Well No. 1H to 6,570-feetin the Angie (James Lime) Field. The well will be located 2.5 miles west of Center and will lie in the Haley, T Survey, A-286.


The Hatton-Price No. 1 and No. 2 will be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. The wells will be drilled 11.3 miles southwest of Center in the Mitchell, Mrs. E Survey, A-1191 to 9,000 feet.


A Wildcat will see the Nutt Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 1H drilled by Newfield Exploration to 12,000 feet. This well will be 8.1 miles northwest of Center in the Mc Faddin, W Survey, A-460.


Smith County

The Kirkpatrick Gas Unit 1 Well No. 12 will be drilled 0.8-mile northwest of Troup in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field. Southwestern Energy Production Co. will drill the well to 12,550 feet in the George, W Survey, A-1099.


Wood County

Cameron Exploration will drill the Hill Brothers Well No. 2 to 8,500 feet in a Wildcat Field. The well will be 5.24 miles northwest of Hawkins and will lie in the Rusk, T J Survey, A-511. This well may also be drilled in the Crow (Paluxy) Field or the Crow (Paluxy, Lower) Field.

The Cameron 'F' GU Well No. 1 is ten miles southwest of Center in the Redland, Northeast Field. This well was completed to 11,615 feet by CW Resources. On 1.25-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.437 million cf of gas in Travis Peak formation.


On 18/64-inch choke, the Sneed, C.W. GU 1 Well No. 3 potentialed 1.200 million cf of gas. This well was completed in the Raintree Field by Goodrich Petroleum to 12,860 feet, 1.7 mile southeast of Wells. Production is in the Hosston formation.


Cherokee County

Goodrich Petroleum completed the Sessions, Rube Well No. 4 in the Raintree Field. This well is 1.1 miles northeast of Wells at 12,561 feet. On 17/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.200 million cf of gass in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.


Freestone County

The Mann, North Field has seen the T. W. Lane Well No. 7 completed by Lacy Operations 0.60-mile north of Kirvin at 9,780 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 2.841 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.


XTO Energy completed four new wells. The George Fulton Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17 is 1.6 miles southwest of Donie at 12,980 feet in the Farrar Field. On 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.681 million cf of gas in Cotton Valley Lime formation. Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 12 is five miles east of Teague at 12,249 feet in the Teague Field. On 48/64-inch choke it potentialed 3.585 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The J.M. Pollard Gas Unit Well No. 23 is 4.1 miles northwest of Dew at 13,130 feet in the Freestone Field. On 13/64-inch choke it potentialed 1.682 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The Henderson-Lott No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 9 is 5.5 miles southwest of Fairfield at 12,561 feet in the Teague Field. On 14/64-inch choke it potentialed 2.582 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.


On 1/64-inch choke, the Cren-shaw, F.H. GU Well No. 15-H pote-ntialed 48.417 cf gas. Devon En-ergy Production Company, L.P. has completed this well in the Nan-Su-Gail Field to 15,555 feet. Location is five miles northeast of Fairfield.


The Keils, W.A. Well No. 01 has been completed by Apache Corp. in the Teague Field six miles west of Teague to 11,535 feet. On 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 19,000 cubic feet of gas in the Travis Peak formation.


Harrison County

GMX Resources completed the Mercer Well No. 3 and the Mercer Well No. 7D in the Carthage, North Field. Location of the No. 3 is 12 miles southeast of Marshall at 10,055 feet. On 64/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 955,000 cf of gas. Location of the No. 7D is 11 miles southeast of Marshall at 10,092 feet. On 64/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.248 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


There has been five new wells completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the Carthage, North Field. The Abney Gas Unit Well No. 14 is 9.5 miles southeast of Marshall at 10,166 feet and potentialed 394,000 cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. The Foster Gas Unit Well No. 9 is 7.3 miles west of Elysian Field at 10,365 feet and potentialed 1.332 million cf of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Devon Energy completed the Fields-Isaacs Well No. 15 in the Waskom Field. This well is 1.2 miles southwest of Waskom at 11,610 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 333,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


On 16/64-inch choke, the Burks Well No. 1 potentialed 401,000 cf of gas. This well was completed five miles south southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field by EXCO to 6,500 feet. Production is in the McLofflin 6270 formation.


Hill County

The Covington Acres Well No. 1H and the Clark Well No. 3H have been completed in the Newark, East Field by Cornerstone E&P. The No. 1H is located 1.6 miles southwest of Covington at 11,975 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 1.950 million cf of gas. The No. 3H is 2.5 miles north of Osceola at 12,733 feet. This well potentialed 2.010 million cf of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Cornerstone E&P completed the Gonzales Well No. 1H in the Newark, East Field to 11,864 feet. This well is 0.4-mile northwest of Itasca and potentialed 487,000 cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


On a 3/4-inch choke, the Jeans Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 849,000 cubic feet of gas. Quicksilver Resources completed the well 1.9 miles northeast of Blanton to 10,518 feet. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Johnson County

On 24/64-inch choke, the Rive Enterprises Well No. 8 potentialed 532,000 cf gas. Devon Energy completed the well to a 6,436 feet. Location is nine miles northeast of Cleburne in the Newark, East Field. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


There has been six new wells completed in the Newark, East Field by Chesapeake Operating. The Dickeson A Well No. 1H is located 14.1 miles north of Cleburne at 10,426 feet and potentialed 3.764 million cf of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. West Lake Well No. 3H is 4.1 miles southwest of Cleburne at 9,979 feet and potentialed 1.329 million cf of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. The West Lake Well No. 7H is 4.1 miles southwest of Cleburne at 10,404- eet and potentialed 1.350 million cf gas on a 64/64-inch choke. The West Lake Well No. 8H is 4.1 miles southwest of Cleburne at 10,421 feet and potentialed 1.219 million cf of gas on 64/64-inch choke. The Falvel Well No. 12H is 4.6 miles northwest of Cleburne at 11,400 feet and potentialed 2.125 million cf of gas on a 1-inch choke. The Falvel Well No. 13H is 4.6 miles northwest of Cleburne at 10,945 feet and potentialed 1.865 million cf of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Devon Energy Production completed the Thomas, Joseph Well No. 2 and the Thomas, Joseph Well No. 3 in the Newark, East Field. The No. 2 bottoms at 9,202 feet 9.23 miles northwest of Cleburne. On 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.191 million cf of gas. The No. 3 bottoms at 9,538-feet 9.74 miles northwest of Cleburne. When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.622 million cf of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Leon County

On 24/64-inch choke, the Ike Watson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 potentialed 665,000 cf of gas. This well was completed by Forest Oil Corp. in the Jewett Field to 11,082 feet. Location is one mile southeast of Jewett. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.


XTO Energy completed the Jensen "A" Well No. 4 in the Bear Grass Field to a depth of 15,740 feet. This well is 4.50 miles west of Jewett. On 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.929 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


Limestone County

The Farrar Field has seen the Triple H Ranch Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 14 completed by XTO Energy to 13,600 feet. This well is 15.40 miles southeast of Groesbeck. On 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.797 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.


Berry Oil Co. completed the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 25 to 13,000 feet in the Freestone Field. Location is 13.9 miles northwest of Jewett. This well was gauged on a 18/64-inch choke and potentialed 342,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.


Nacogdoches County

Exxon Mobil Corp. has completed the Trawick GU 10 Well No. 13-C in the Trawick Field 4.48 miles southeast of Cushing to 9,040 feet. On 0.75-inch choke, the well potentialed 161,000 cf of gas in the Pettit formation.


Panola County

The Mason Well No. 22 is located 4.7 miles southwest of Cartha-ge in the Carthage Field. Devon Energy completed the well to 9,600 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 2.152 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


On a 22/64-inch choke, the J.D. Woolworth Well No. 14 potentialed 1.788 million cf of gas. This well was completed by XTO in the Carthage to 9,753 feet two miles southeast of Carthage. Production is in Cotton Valley formation.


In a lease 11 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, the Summers Unit Well No. 1H has been completed by Devon Energy to 12,864 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 2.074 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


The Carthage Field has seen the CGU 9 Well No. 16 and the Frost Unit 5 Well No. 7 completed by Anadarko E&P Company. The No. 16 is 3.8 miles southwest of Carthage at 9,800 feet. This well was gauged on an adjustable choke and potentialed 870,000 cf gas. The No. 7 is located 9.3 miles northeast of Carthage at 9,975 feet. On an adjustable choke it potentialed 478,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Goodrich Petroleum completed the Sealey, G.T. Well No. 4 in the Beckville Field and the Sealey, Billy GU Well No. 7 in a Wildcat Field. The No. 4 is 13.6 miles east of Henderson at 10,315 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.040 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation. The No. 7 well is located 11.3 miles southwest of Tatum with a depth of 11,384-feet. On 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 424,000 cubic feet of gas.


The Sealey, Billy GU Well No. 11 is 11.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. Goodrich Petroleum drilled to 10,380 feet. On 18/64-inch choke and potentialed 948,000 cf of gas with production in the Cotton Valley formation.


On adjustable choke, the Maur-itzen, J.C. Well No. 9-H potentialed 2.876 million cf of gas. Devon En-ergy completed the well 8.8 miles southwest of Carthage in the Car-thage Field to 13,936 feet. Produc-tion is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Chevron U.S.A. completed the Beall-Norman "A" Well No. 5 in the Carthage Field. This well is 2.3 miles southeast of Beckville at 9,778 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well flowed with 70.63 barrels of crude in the Travis Peak 6400 formation.


The Parker Unit 2 Well No. 12 has been completed by Lacy Operations in the Carthage Field. This well is 4.7 miles northeast of Beckville at 9,963 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 942,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Robertson County

Burlington Resources completed the BR Becktold Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Savell Field 6.5 miles east of Franklin to 16,448 feet. The well potentialed 5.745 million cf of gas on 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier Sand formation.


Rusk County

The Lockridge GU Well No. 7 is 7.9 miles northeast of Henderson in the Oak Hill Field. This well was drilled by Verado Energy to 10,852 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 572,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


On 17/64-inch choke, the Swiley, T. Gas Unit Well No. 5 potentialed 244,000 cf of gas. Goodrich Petroleum Co. completed the well nine miles east of Henderson in a Wildcat Field. Total depth is 11,570 feet.


Shelby County

The McSwain Well No. 6 bottoms at 12,460 feet nine miles southwest of Center in the Stockman Field. This well was drilled by Devon Energy. On adjustable choke, it potentialed 5.400 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


On 64/64-inch choke, the Weaver Well No. 1 potentialed 10.072 million cf of gas. This well was completed 11.2 miles southwest of Center in the Angie Field by Cabot Oil & Gas. Total depth is 13,269 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.


Devon Energy completed the Case Well No. 3 in the Stockman Field to 12,430 feet. Location is 10.8 miles southwest of Center. This well was gauged on an adjustable choke and potentialed 11.559 million cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Upshur County

On 24/64-inch choke, the J.W. Barber Well No. 3 potentialed 436,000 cf of gas. This well was completed 7.7 miles northwest of Gilmer in the Rosewood Field by Cross Creek Energy. Total depth is 11,270 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

Angelina River Well To Be Drilled North Of Lufkin

DEVELOPMENTAL

Angelina County

The Angelina River GU Well No. 2 will be drilled 12 miles north of Lufkin in the Redland, Northeast (Travis Peak) Field to 12,500 feet by C.W. Resources in the Micheli, V Survey, A-29.


Cherokee County

The Larry Neal Well No. 1 will be drilled 3.9 miles south of Forest in a Wildcat Field to 12,000 feet by Chesapeake Operating. The well will lie in the Duncan, SA Survey, A-14.


Gregg County

Remuda Operating Co. will prepare to drill the Lacy, Lawson Well No. 3D in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field, 4.6 miles southwest of Longview in the Lagrone, J Survey, A-124 and will bottom at 13,500 feet. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or the Willow Springs (Travis Peak) Field.


The Sklar-Haynes Wells No. 1-3 will be drilled in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field by Sklar Exploration 1.6 miles northwest of Gregg County Courthouse. These wells will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Skillern, IC Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley, West) Field.


Henderson County

The H.P. Barton Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled 7.6 miles southwest of Athens in the Tri-Cities (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be drilled by XTO Energy to 12,500 feet in the Wiley Kay Survey, A-421. This well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Hill County

The Kennedy Unit Wells 1H and 2H will be drilled by Quicksilver Resources 0.6-mile southeast of Blanton in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will be drilled to 9,000 feet in the Greer, N H Survey, A-324.


In a lease 5.8 miles southeast of Itasca in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field, the Phillip Robertson Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled by EOG Resources to 10,000-feet in the Hays, J Survey, A-361.


Houston County

The Shelley Well No. 3 will be drilled 19.4 miles southwest of Crockett by TXCO Resources to 12,000 feet in the Fort Trinidad (Glen Rose) Field and will lie in the Clark, B Survey, A-23. LLOG Exploration Texas will drill the Jason Flowers Well No. 1 in a Wildcat Field 7.1 miles southwest of Lovelady in the Blunt, J S Survey, A-11. Total depth will be 9,600 feet and this well may also be drilled in the Fort Trinidad (Buda) Field.


The Seven J Stock Farm Well No. 51 will be drilled 4.4 miles northeast of Midway in the Fort Trinidad, Southwest (Glen Rose-B-) Field. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-29 by TXCO Resources Inc.


Leon County

The Jewett (Travis Peak) Field will see the Clute-Diehl Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 8 and the Clute-Diehl Gas Unit No.1 Well No. 9 drilled by Forest Oil Corp. The No. 8 will be 2.44 miles northeast of Jewett. The No. 9 will be 2.1 miles northeast of Jewett. Both will lie in the Willingham, BH Survey, A-964 and hit 11,500 feet.


The Barron-Hartman Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 will be drilled 0.83-mile east of Jewett in a Wildcat Field by Forest Oil Corp. This well will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Coleman, RB Survey, A-215. The well may also be drilled in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field.


Limestone County

Ralph Spence Oil Co. will drill the Favors, C.C. "B" Well No. 4 in the Pokey (Pettit) Field. This well will bottom at 7,800 feet in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4, 8.1 miles southeast of Groesbeck. This well may also be drilled in the Pokey (Travis Peak Lower 1) Field, the Pokey (Rodessa B) Field, the Pokey (Travis Peak Lower) Field or a Wildcat Field.


The N.E. Shorter Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 5 will be drilled 16.9 miles east of Thornton in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field by XTO Energy to 13,800 feet in the Rejon, MC Survey, A-26. The well may also be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Farrar, Southeast (Pettit) Field.


Nacogdoches County

The White Horse Well No. 1 will be 16 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in a Wildcat Field. This well will be drilled by Sonerra Resources to 11,000 feet in the Chirino, J A Survey, A-17. This well may also be drilled in the Kendrick (Travis Peak) Field.


In a lease eight miles south of Nacogdoches, in the Red Land, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Cheetah GU 1 Well No. 1 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star to 12,500 feet in the Carter, J Survey, A-164 and may also be drilled in the Red Land, Northeast (Pettit) Field, the Shawnee Spring (Travis Peak) Field, a Wildcat Field or the Black Bayou (Travis Peak) Field.


Goodrich Petroleum Co. will drill the Hill Well No. 1 in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field 6.3 miles northeast of Nacogdoches, Cordova, J & Bros. Survey, A-20 to 15,000 feet. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field or the Naconiche Creek (Cotton Valley) Field.


The Black Stone-Pruitt GU 1 Well No. 4 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be 10.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21. Total depth will be 12,000 feet. The well may also be drilled in the Trawick (Pettit) Field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a Wildcat Field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.


EOG Resources will drill the Jackson "E-1" Gas Unit Well No. 10 in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The well will bottom at 10,100 feet in the Harris, J A Survey, A-278.


The Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field will see the Melton Well No. 2 drilled by Southwest Operating-Tyler. This well will be 2.5 miles northwest of Garrison in the Acosta, J J Survey, A-65 at 9,400 feet. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Navarro County

The Bent Road (Smackover) Well No. 1 will be drilled by O'Ryan Oil & Gas in the Tynes (Smackover) Field. This well will bottom at 9,900-feet in the Jourdan, T J Survey, A-425, 12.7 miles northeast of Corsicana.


Panola County

Devon Energy will drill the Brannon Well No. 12H in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be 7.7 miles southwest of Carthage in the Parker, M Survey, A-527 and will bottom at 12,000 feet.


The Lutheran Church Well No. 5H will be drilled 7.5 miles southwest of Tatum in a Wildcat Field by Goodrich Petroleum to 15,500 feet in the Rogers, D F Survey, A-568.


Patara Oil & Gas LLC will drill two new wells in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. The Taylor Heirs Well No. 4 will be 12.6 miles southwest of Carthage in the Williams, P Survey, A-724. This well may also be drilled in the Itex (Pettit) Field, the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field, a Wildcat Field, the Fairplay, Northeast (Travis Peak) Field, the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Itex (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage (Pettit, Lower) Field, the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field or the Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field. The Lynch, Maizie Well No. 1 will be drilled 14.3 miles southeast of DeBerry in the Belle Bower (Pettit, Lower) Field. This well will bottom at 7,000 feet drilled in the Bissel, A Survey, A-89 by Bowles Energy. The well may also be drilled in the Belle Bower (5200) Field, the Belle Bower (6150) Field, the Belle Bower (Glenrose) Field, the Belle Bower (Rodessa 'Hill') Field or the Belle Bower (Paluxy Upper) Field.


XTO Energy will drill the New Horizons Well No. 2H in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 17,200 feet in the English, S Survey, A-189 nine miles northwest of Beckville.


The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Oxsheer Unit Wel1 No. 4H drilled by Classic Operating Company LLC. This well will be 2.15 miles north of Joaquin in the Haley, CQ Survey, A-274 to 13,400-feet.


Robertson County

In a lease 9.8 miles northeast of Franklin, in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field, the Charlene Well No. 1 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas. This well will bottom at 20,000 feet in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-46.


EnCana Oil & Gas will drill the McLean Well No. E1 in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. This well will be 9.2 miles northeast of Franklin at 20,000 feet. This well will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32.


Rusk County

Forest Oil Corp. will drill the Galan White Gas Unit Well No. 10 in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be six miles northwest of Henderson in the Pena, MV Survey, A-27 to 13,500 feet.


The Carter, KF WH GU Well No. C 5 will be drilled 3.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be drilled to 13,000 feet by Goodrich Petroleum Co. in the Martin, D Survey, A-526. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


In a lease 2.1 miles northwest of Tatum, in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field, the Williamson Unit Well No. 14 will be drilled by Energen Resources. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Logsdon, J Survey, A-484. The well may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


Chinn Exploration will drill the Benton Young Well No. 1 in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will be 2.8 miles southwest of Henderson in the Jones, T Survey, A-450 and will bottom at 12,250 feet.


The Wilkerson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 15 will be drilled 5.7 miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Peck, S R Survey, A-620. The well will be drilled by SandRidge Onshore.


San Augustine County

The Angie (James Lime) Field will see the Jacquelyn Bright Gas Unit Well No. 1H drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas to 9,000 feet in the Holman, S Survey, A-135. This well will be 5.82 miles northwest of San Augustine.


Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Jacquelyn Bright Well No. 3H, 6.21 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Angie (James Lime) Field. This well will bottom at 9,000 feet in the Holman, S Survey, A-135, 6.21 miles northwest of San Augustine.


In a lease 17.4 miles northwest of San Augustine in a Wildcat Field, the Scott Well No. 1 will be drilled to bottom at 11,500 feet by Enerquest Corp. This well will be drilled in the Scott, E T Survey, A-286 and may also be drilled in the Martinsville, North (Travis Peak) Field.


Shelby County

The Mora Well No. 1 will be drilled 13.5 miles southwest of Center in a Wildcat Field by Stroud Petroleum to 12,000 feet in the Moore, RN Survey, A-839 and may also be drilled in the Stockman, South (Travis Peak) Field, the Stockman, South (Pettit) Field or the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field.


Cabot Oil & Gas will drill four new wells in the Angie (James Lime) Field. The Borders Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled ten miles southwest of Center in the Perry, W M Survey, A-932 to 9,500 feet. The Temple-Inland Well No. 1 will be drilled 10.4 miles southwest of Center in the Lucas, D A Survey, A-442 to 9,500-feet. The Donatill Wells 1 and 2 will be drilled 10 miles southwest of Center in the Rusk CSL Survey, A-593 to 9,000 feet.



COMPLETIONS

Cherokee County

The Chronister Heirs Well No. 8 was completed 5.1 miles east of Alto by XTO Energy to 13,769 feet in the Doyle Creek Field. On 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.214 million cf of gas in the Travis Peak formation.


Gregg County

Samson Lone Star completed the Flanagan Well No. 13 in the Danville Field 3.5 miles east of Kilgore. This well bottoms at 10,905 feet. On 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.818 million cf of gas in the Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


Hill County

The Norris Unit Well No. 6H was completed 2.5 miles southeast of Blum in the Newark, East Field. Quicksilver Resources drilled to 10,035 feet. This well potentialed 1.882 million cf of gas on a ï¾¾-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Range Production completed the Nowlin, Clyde in the Newark, East Field to 10,659 feet. This well is 4.5 miles northwest of Hillsboro. On 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 716,000 cf of gas in the Barnett Shale formation.


Leon County

The Cain Well No. 1 is located one mile southeast of Buffalo in the Red Oak Field. Barrow-Shaver Resources Co. drilled to 6,810 feet. This well flowed with five barrels of crude (choke size not recorded). Production is in the Dexter formation.


Limestone County

XTO Energy completed two new wells. The B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 14 is 3.20 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. This well bottoms at 14,170 feet and potentialed 1.148 million cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. The S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 10 is 14 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field. This well bottoms at 12,746 feet and potentialed 2.549 million cf of gas on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley- Bossier Consolidated formation.


St. Mary Land & Exploration completed the White Well No.4 in the Box Church Field 3.90 miles southeast of Groesbeck to 9,383 feet. On18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 633,000 cf of gas in the Travis Peak formation.


Nacogdoches County

The West Esparza Well No. 1H is 8.66 miles southwest of Nacogdoches in the Loco Bayou Field. St. Mary Land & Exploration completed this well to 14,910 feet. On 64/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 4.525 million cf of gas in the James Lime formation.


Fossil Resources completed the Dodgers Gas Unit Well No. 2H in the Martinsville Field to 12,327 feet, three miles northeast of Melrose. On 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.396 million cf of gas in the James Lime formation.


On 12/64-inch choke, the Trawick Gas Unit Well No. 1-101 potentialed 1.792 million cf of gas. This well was completed by Cabot Oil & Gas to 12,414 feet in the Trawick Field. Location is four miles southeast of Cushing. Production is in the Jurassic formation.


Navarro County

The Corsicana Field saw the Eugenia Cerf Well No. 1F completed by Corsicana Oil & Gas five miles southeast of Corsicana to 1,505 feet. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Shallow formation.


Activa Resources completed the Cerf Well No. 6 in the Corsicana Field to 2,700 feet 6.5 miles southeast of Corsicana. The well flowed with 21 barrels of crude (choke size not recorded). Production is in the Shallow formation.


Panola County

The Ball 2 Unit Well No. 15 is 9.3 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. ConocoPhillips Co. drilled to 9,630 feet. On 22/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 751,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Robertson County

The Bald Prairie Field saw four wells completed by XTO Energy. The H.M. Jones Gas Unit Well No. 6 is 15 miles northeast of Franklin at 13,370 feet. On 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.010 million cf of gas. The Snapdragon Gas Unit Well No. 1 is 13.6 miles northeast of Franklin at15,000 feet. On 10/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 599,000 cf of gas. The Steele Gas Unit No. 2 Well No.1 is 3.1 miles northeast of Franklin at 15,249 feet. On 22/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.270 million cf of gas. The Mitchell Unit No. II Well No. 11 is 11.4 miles northeast of Franklin at 12,550 feet. On 19/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 630,000 cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


The Reynolds Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed by O'Benco in the Bald Prairie Field, 12.6 miles northwest of Franklin at 12,400 feet. On 18/64 inch choke, the well potentialed 1.055 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


There have been two additional wells completed in the Bald Prairie Field by XTO Energy. The Mitchell Gas Unit III Well No. 15 is 11 miles northeast of Franklin at 13,292 feet. This well potentialed 2.220 million cf of on a 14/64-inch choke. The J.C. Kennedy Well No. 4 is 12.7 miles northeast of Franklin at 13,450 feet. On 12/64-inch choke and potentialed 2.622 million cf of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


EnCana Oil & completed the Sybil Marshall Unit Well No. 2 in the Bald Prairie Field to 2,808 feet. This well is 4.4 miles north east of Franklin and potentialed 2.705 million cf of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


John Blair Well No. 28 and the John, Blair Well No. 9 were completed by Coronado Energy in Bald Prairie Field. The No. 28 is 12.4 miles northeast of Franklin at 12,575 feet. On 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.558 million cf of gas. The No. 9 is 11.9 miles northeast of Franklin at 12,710 feet. On 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.566 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


Rusk County

The Dickeson Well No. 3 is 5.2 miles northwest of Henderson in the Henderson, East Field. This well was completed by Forest Oil to 11,520 feet. On 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 892,000 cf of gas in the Cotton Valley formation.


Energen Resources Corp. completed the Williamson Unit Well No. 15 and the Williamson Unit Well No. 12 in the Oak Hill Field. The wells are located 2.7 miles northwest of Tatum. The No. 15 bottoms at 10,725 feet and potentialed 448,000 cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. The No. 12 bottoms at 10,705 feet and potentialed 742,000 cf of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


On 20/64-inch choke, the Holt, Jack Well No. 3 potentialed 1.195 million cf of gas. El Paso E&P completed to 10,950 feet in the Minden Field. This well 2.9 miles southeast of Henderson. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


Shelby County

On a 36/64-inch choke, the Nobles Well No. 7 potentialed 1.221 million cf of gas. This well is 8.8 miles southeast of Center in the Stockman Field. Encore Operating completed the well to 4,767 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.


Smith County

The Kirkpatrick, Williard P GU 1 Well No. 15 has been completed .8-mile northwest of Troup in the Overton Field. This well was completed by Southwestern Energy Production to 12,328 feet. On 18/64-inch choke it potentialed 2.451 million cf of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.
