I live in Dallas TX but own property in old Broadmoor.
I sent a check to join the Broadmoor homeowner's assocation
6/8 weeks ago, as well as signed the shale form to allow same to speak for me. I have heard nothing from the association re shale discussions for our area. Has anyone else? Thanks

BNA (Pres. Ken Kreft) was joining Shreve Centre Coalition last I heard. No fee for SCC, though. You can locate information about contacting them on Shreveports shale website under Neighborhood Associations. Shreve Center Coalition also now has their own website with info. Hope this helps.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
