Kudos Randy. I appreciate what you do for this site. I wouldnt spend so much time responding to you if I didnt enjoy the jousting with you. I certainly didnt mean to imply not getting into the conversations. This would be real boring if we didnt have the many different sides of the coin that we have here.Unlike myself, I have never read anything that deserved deleting on your part. As you say, this will help educate and also show insight into the hearts and minds of the people most affected by the Haynesville Shale Play.

P.S. When you see the angry mob with the burning torches next time, dont tell everybody that you are with Frankenstein. (LOL)
Thanks again Randy but you might keep that hardhat on for a few more weeks. At least until things simmer down a little. If thats possible.Have a good one. Snake :-{)
KB Can eminent domain be used to obtain pipeline ROW? It was my understanding that it only applied if the pipeline crossed state lines>
Where is the office located in Shreveport for American Right of Way Associates?
Just to add my two cents, I think the way this thread went is a great topic (Big Oil vs. landowner; negotiations; good faith vs. bad). Let's put it in a separate thread and flesh this thing out once and for all (if that is even possible). It's already been the elephant in the room within the majority of posts. Lets get into it in a reasonable and emotion free fashion because I think there are some great issues in all of this. Are there villains here or not? Who had a duty to do what?

To boil it down could provide peace for some that are emotional and clarity for some that are confused.
I find all of these posts helpful and informative. Emotional? Yep you betcha. But at least I'm not alone - I can see both points of view, but in the end the big companies hold all of the cards - so we sit and we wait. I had prayed this was a blessing for this community. We (north Louisiana mostly) have been without a strong economical base for so long, we have come to accept whatever is "benevolently" given. That's just sad.

Thanks, KB and Randy - and as always, Dorcheated A1.
Mary1217,
You KB, Jay, Randy and everybody else I would like to thank, as you see can I don't interject
much in O&G conversations I know when it's a time to listen and not speak. You people are the expert's not me so I just try to absorb it. So Jay please don't be a stranger on the board there are a lot of people on this site just like me who need your guidance and expertise.

No record of a local number, but you email Rebeeca Castro at rcastro@texasrightofway.com . Two other bits: Ted is a member of this forum, but has not responded to my message (assume to be inactive), plus ARWA is scheduled to be at the expo next month.
This is good news? I'm confused by all the responses so far. My apologies Wm. Buckner to your timely post...sounds as if some more big "guns" are hiring on to intimidate us. I guess I just feel mistrustful of companies & people due to long ago experiences in this area. Eminent domain, exappropriation, etc.
I guess it's gonna be at the El Dorado?
