If you have lived in your house longer than ten years, you own the mineral rights. If you have not lived in your home for ten years, then the developer likely owns your mineral rights. You can find out any information from the Benton Courthouse.

You may have to do a title search at the courthouse. If the house was built before 1998, even if the minerals were reserved, it is likely they have now reverted to the surface owner (you). Courthouse records all transfers of title, and it may take some time to trace your lot

First place to look is at your Deed. Did James Brown Builder reserve the mineral rights in your Deed. If not you need to trace it back further to see which Co. owned it within the past 10 years to see if they reserved Mineral rights.
Ex. Sunflower reserves minerals when it sells to JBB in 2004. The Deed to you from JBB does NOT reserve minerals.
In this seneriou Sunflowr owns the minerals.
They own the minerals for 10 years from the time it is reserved unless the 10 year period is interrupted by drilling. In this case they own for 10 years from the interruption.
