PENALTY FOR NOT REPORTING RESULTS? HOW LONG DO THEY HAVE?

I understand that there is a penalty and fine that the drilling companies will get hit with for not reporting on time. How long do they have to report well information to Sonris? Also, how much would the penalty be for not reporting within the time frame? I am most concerned about the Shell wells in North Sabine Parish but I am sure there are others that are withholding the valuable information that we are all looking for. Thanks for the help in understanding the wonderful world of Oil and Gas.

Kassi seems to be in contact with media members from time to time. Maybe she could drop a hint that there may be some reporting of wells that is not getting done.
JW, I have read through some of the applicable Louisiana regulations and did not see any reference to fines for failure to report well test results. I welcome any one else to research and see if I missed something. Until such time I would suggest people not make unsupported statements about fines.

Now failure to report well production volumes to a pipeline (ie gas sales) is another matter. The regulations clearly require these volumes to be reported and the operator can be subjected to fines of $50 to $500 per day for failure to do so. I am not aware of any operator failing to report such volumes for the Haynesville Shale since most of the wells have not been connected to the gas sales pipeline.
Les B,

I agree, it could be that all that ng is just sitting there...waiting on "pipe." Again...no reporting of volume...just waiting and waiting and waiting.
Les, I was only asking the question. I wasn't making any direct accusations toward any company. I was only trying to find out if they are abiding by the rules in not reporting production rates. The answers that I got is what kept this discussion going. Again, I was not accusing anyone of doing anything and I apologize if I struck a nerve. I have followed your responses and appeciate your input on the site.
JW, no apologies necessary. My statement was more directed in general to the readers as I have seen a lot of references to fines in various forums. Just seeking if anyone can provide some additional information.

Sorry if my tone came across negative as that was not my intent.
Look on sonris at well # 236572 by our "friends at J W Production"
Be sure to CLICK on ORG ID (organiaztion name) then MOVE to
bottom of screen and look at ORG RED FLAGS on this well and
look at warning status. I can't fine how to decode the status
warnings but it looks like they have had a "few".
James V,

I saw these J-W Production Co. "violations" a couple of months back. I also spoke with a gentleman who helped with the Calvary B. Church deal on Linwood, Shreveport...p.s. Calvary signed for higher than reported here, or that I had previously been told... Getting on with what James V is reporting...warning signs are all over J-W Oper. Co. Needless to say, their "depth change clause" requests to the Office of Conservation, force pooling, etc. are more RED FLAGS AND WARNINGS per this company's business practices.

I am not here to single out one drilling company, there are plenty with RED FLAGS!
DrWave-What is exactly was the terms of the Calvary deal?
According to a 1st hand source, Calvary was going to sign with CHK, and then HK dropped a better deal on the table. Again...I was told this face to face. I am not associated with this Church, so I will take any info with a grain of salt. However, this source is associated with this Church.

It was newer info and not what had been posted previously. So for what it is worth, Calvary got a slightly better deal than has been reported here.
Does anyone know of a list of these fine terms. Or is there any way to find out exactly what they mean?

Good question. I've looked for a long time on SONRIS and can't find anything. But granted, there's a lot on the site. I wonder what a 29B, or whatever it was I saw CHK cited so many times for, is.
I have looked all over also and I can't find anything either!
