I have approximately 10 acres in S3 T10 R13. I do not live in Desoto Parish.
Can anyone fill me in on the leasing activity going on in this area?

Not sure of where the area you mentioned is- but almost all of desoto parish
(not quiet all) but a big majority is under lease already- but more meetings are
being held, and leasing still continues
There are a lot of people not leased in Desoto Parish. You need to get a map of your section from the tax assessors office. It will include the names of all land owners. Then start contacting folks in your section to find the unleased or leased but soon to expire folks for collective bargaining. Email me @ kassi205@aol.com if you need help.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
