How about high school gym (with air conditioning - this time)?

First Baptist Church-Doyline? Either family life center or sanctuary?

West Lake Church?

Union elementary Gym (with air conditioning)?

State Park but too hot?

Old fashioned revival tent in a pasture with handheld fans? Too hot?

I'm just throwing ideas out there. Anyone else?

I assure you MOM the A/C problem at Union has been taken care of. Can't have our kiddies going to school when its so hot now can we. Even tho they could play outside all day in this heat , we certainly can't. I just don't know about the size of the turnout. The gym would be o.k. if we had another big turnout but this may be just people that want to sign up.

I would rather not get accussed of using the church for reasons other than church. Just my opinion. I wouldn't mind having an informational meeting at a church but not one that would take on members as this one will. If you were unable to attend our first meeting you wouldn't have known that we didn't even allow people to sign up because we didn't want anyone to think we were trying to hurry them or force them to do something they didn't want to do.

Gods house has been used in some inappropriate ways on this Shale from the other side , in my humble opinion.

I agree---I've read all about it. What we are doing may fall along the same lines?? Not so sure.

The only alternative may be the schools. We are very limited on cool seating place here in Doyline.

Will do our best to keep everyone informed. We will be hitting the streets this weekend hopefully as we did a couple of weeks ago to try to stir the water a little before our meeting the next week. Signs with our webpage on it should be ordered the first part of the week and hopefully be in before the meeting so we can get them out for all to see.
