Did anyone see Chesapeake Documentary that was underwritten by Chesapeake with Karen Adams this weekend? I wish someone would do a documentary about Haynesville that isn't attached to O&G.

I saw it. It was nothing more than a Chesapeake commercial. Maybe it was a tad more informative than the amateurish show that channel 3 did, but still, it was a only a commercial.
Usually commercials are limited in time & get straight to the point. This was more like an infomercial ... "Just set it and forget it!"
Actually there is a film maker by the name og Greg Kalenburg who is making a film length documentary about the haynesville shale. He has spent a good deal of time with me and others. He is trying to present all sides. I am sure it will be a great film.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
