Curious if there is any activity by say: XTO Energy, Petrohawk, EOG Resources in the Logansport (Desoto Parish) Louisiana. Section 13: Township 11, North-Range 16 West area?

If by "activity," you mean drilling and not leasing, there is activity by EOG just west of Logansport in Texas-big horizontal called John Adams #1.

Yes drilling by say Petrohawk, EOG, XTO and Chesapeake. I understand some strong Natural Gas Wells have been brought in recently. We have about 100 acres in Desoto Parish, Section 13, Township 11, North-Range 16 West. Curios when a good well comes in what the monthly royalty might be to an individual. Appreciate the information.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
