Well number 230275 is this a horizontal? If so . .. .

Is this a horizontal well that was shut in by CHK? If so the center is moving south.

reg,
This is an Austin Chalk completion with two horizontal laterals. Don't think it has anything to do with the "center moving south" since it is not a Haynesville Shale well. But it does appear to be a good well if it holds out. Also, it was shut in while waiting on pipeline completion, but now is on line.
thanks, I have been researching that area for some clients and was looking for some deep wells that had produced but been shut in after completion. How do you know from the record that a well is shut in and waiting for pipeline?
reg,
On the next to last entry on Sonris I believe it stated that. And then the last entry stated the completion results. They usually will not frac a well and complete it until the pipeline is complete. That is why they often shut a well in while waiting on the pipeline to be built.
Thanks this helps alot.
