There are other signs right beside it Pat , that are still there. This last sign was on private property. You are allowed to guess but I would gander with all of the stated facts that it has nothing to do with a sign being somewhere it isn't supposed to be.

Just a little update. Signs are being removed from private property now. You will get caught. You aren't smart enough to continue to get away with it. If you are , I am going to increase your chances of getting nabbed by offering a $100 reward for the arrest and conviction of said fellon. Unless of course we catch you first. I promise you that we will not prosecute.I would just give the reward money to charity.

Snake, if the area lends it's self to do it, you might put out a hidden wildlife camera and ID these felons. just make sure it is well hidden or they will steal that too.
