Shalers,

I am going to conduct a test that will allow advertisers to write promotional blogs and maintain a GHS business profile. Solicitations/spamming within all forums/groups will still be prohibited. Advertisers will not be posting in the forums while using thier business profile. An advertiser may have a personal profile from which they will post.

This was initially done informally with Katie McCullin from Chk Energy. Many site members were able to make contact with her and hopefullu get some answers. I think this will add a new dimension to the site and will allow the advertiser to educate our members on their product and services and maintain a better connection among those who want to learn more. I may feature an advertiser's blog from time to time if it adds something to the discussion.

The first advertiser to test this with is Oildex. Visit their profile.

Read their blog here - http://www.gohaynesvilleshale.com/profiles/blog/list?user=02qab3bzi...

If anyone else is interested in starting a business profile, email me at sales@gohaynesvilleshale.com

I appreciate your continued support in helping to keep the forums clear of solicitations.

Keith -- is it possible to put them in one group and start a new group call it" advertister group" or something  then can have subtitles under the group. then every one would know where to go and find them. A new advertister could some way let all members know about new blogs when posted by announcement on main page in some manner.  Just some thoughts
