The Messenger Well is shut in. Area is not good.
JoeK, What do you mean by the area is not good? What makes that true? Thanks for any info.
I did not know the Messenger Well was shut in.
Jim Krow, could you elaborate? What do you make of the declining production from the Messenger well?
1) it's a vertical
2) all Haynesville wells have hyperbolic declines
3) it's normal
Alas, some people love to muddy the water and take delight on how much flak their post receives.Nothing wrong with that area.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
