Does anyone know what Anadarko is looking for in northwest Marion county around Lake O' the Pines?  They've been in there leasing for over a year and I heard they have over 15,000 under lease and looking to get more.

The rig was gone before the 7th. We can now watch for production reports for the next several months (Feb. production will be reported in April). The IP report will appear about the same time as first PR or shortly after if they stick to their normal MO unless... they go "tite hole". In that case we won't see the IP report for some time.

Just settle down to wait and keep your grapevine tuned in for activity on the pad. A pumping crew will show up to frac the well.

the drilling permit said test only what does that mean?

I believe it said they would test the Haynesville and then drill the lateral in the Cotton Valley. So, what I understand from that is that they will drill a vertical into the Haynesville, test it and then plug back to the CV where they will drill the lateral. That is done in undeveloped areas and formations to get some science on what might be down there before they spend big money on a completion in that interval.

We are under their lease in Shelby County since june. I d like to know their plans as well.

I heard that Anadarko had drilled the Clark Gas Unit but had not completed the well and now they are going to drill the Talboys Gas Unit and complete both wells at the same time.

does anyone know anything about the tailboys gas unit?

It's just a permit, so far.

21 acres more or less in the Alexander Cameron Survey, Abstract 110, and RJ Johnson Survey, Abstract 387, situated in Shelby County Texas. Recorded volume 347, pg. 568 , Deed records. William Harlon Eakins, et ux, to G.W.Youngblood dated Dec.1955. Anyone hear of anything at this site? Anadarko has this and Dixon in Tyler.

have they fracked the clark well yet

No sir. The last word on file is the well record dated 2-1-14. Says they drilled the pilot hole, then plugged it back to the Harleton (Cotton Valley) and temporarily abandoned while they study where to land the lateral. They left the permit open but have not filed anything else.

Jifree,
Anything new in Shelby?(21 acres more or less in the Alexander Cameron Survey, Abstract 110, and RJ Johnson Survey, Abstract 387, situated in Shelby County Texas. Recorded volume 347, pg. 568 , Deed records. William Harlon Eakins, et ux, to G.W.Youngblood dated Dec.1955).

Not really. XTO is still running two rigs in the south end but I haven't heard anything re: leasing by anyone in quite a while.
