Carol, by Louisiana law you don't have to sign a division order. You do have to provide your tax information. Archon is not recognized by the state as an "operating company". Archon may have a non-operated working interest in your unit. Without knowing the section-township-range location of your minerals that's about all I can say.

So, you own mineral rights in either Sections 25 or 36, 11N-11W. Since that well was completed in March of 2020, why would you be getting a Division Order now? Did you recently inherit this mineral right? Here are five wells. The first is producing from sections 25 and 24. The second is producing from sections 25 & 36. Since you didn't get a Division Order for the first then I surmise that your mineral interest is in Section 36. The last three wells are drilled but not reported complete, Status 31. They have work orders for the frack so they may be complete but just reported as such yet.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
