This was on the news just last night. Water that "burps," is flammable, and tastes "salty." It also discusses a report by the TRRC.

Well it came up and I am trying to change it.
Amigo 2 - What are you trying to change here? Diapers?

Teacher, I was getting out for school in the Sugarland Area; I thought someone had been shot as I was driving a low sports car and had left foor on gournd and felt that explosion. I went in to secretary and had her phone her state trooper husband to find out what had happened. Yes, our state needs to have enough employees to check pipelines; I had one that leaked in my yard and was bubbling--had a difficult time getting new lines to home. Finally, finally told the my cousin had worked for TRRC and was now with OCHA (sp. Soon, oters complained; they laid new lines up and down major roads and to our houses. All this time I thought you were a Shelby C. teacher!!! I am very proud of our TX Gas Discoveries; however, we should really work for Safety.
I remember in Indiana seeing a water well driller hitting pockets of gas and mud and gravel blowing from the pipe. They said they had some kind of equipment they had to put on the wells in that area to separate the gas from the water.
They were drilling a water well at Gardner just West of Alexandria and hit a gas pocket that rocketed all the casing into the air.
That certainly would have been a Kodak moment if one caught that driller's face on camera when that started to happen, huh?
I talked to an old man that was across the highway bushogging his field and saw the whole show. He said the rig hands were running in all directions.
I know this is serious to the guys that were working, but .... ROTFLMDO!!!! Sorry, my creative imagination sees something like a scene from "The Holy Grail." Run away!!!

I hope nobody was hurt.

No one got hurt but I think most would have had to go home and change their pants.
Shoot, those guys spend all day in the pit getting dirty. They'll use any excuse to knock off early. (just kidding) Glad nobody was hurt.
