I was wondering if anyone has been contacted concerning this well. I'm trying to figure out what I can expect next and in what kind of timeframe.

The rig was taken down yesterday morning (Sunday).  However, another rig pulled up as I was watching them.  The original rig is down and off to the side on the pad..  The BOP stack is on the well (never was taken off) and the new rig appears to be backed up to it. Never did lift the rig to the upright position yesterday while I was there. Will have to wait until next weekend to see what they are doing.

Thank You Rock Man And Nat Gas Engineer.  I also see where Skip Peel responded about four times yesterday and the reply was deleted.  I was just curious as to why.

Just the website being jinky.  When the reply button disappears as it always does after a set number of replies,  I like to post a comment by using the main dialogue box just under the discussion title.  That resets the replies so that a reply box appears.  I may have been trying to do that too soon after NGE's reply.  Anyway your reply has reset the thread.  Here is what I'd tried to post but the website wouldn't reset.

Thanks, NGE.  Blow Out Preventer (BOP)

I've hauled a few of these along with the top drive and traveling block out of NOV Bammel to bring to the Patterson Rig Yard on Hwy 90.

So! While NG prices go higher, XTO decides its time to do something with this hole to shut down production...  It never ends!

Operations here may be unavoidable and had to be done.

Oh, I know.  It just seems like the last time we had a decent upward swing in price the production was cut as well...

Yep, perfect time for the well(s) to be shut down. I was up there over Thanksgiving and the rig I saw come onto the pad two weeks back is up and working. They were working every day except Thursday (Thanksgiving).

Way too much rig time for a normal workover operation. Trying to figure what is going on but whatever it is, it is really serious.

Would they re-frack the well with a workover rig?
