Has anyone heard of these people? I got a letter from them today asking to do a 3-D geophysical survey on our property and requesting social security information on us. They are requesting this on behalf of Chesapeake Operating, Inc. Is it standard policy to request social security numbers from the landowners?

Mr. McGehee, can we also say, "permission granted only if I can have a copy of the data of our land?" or, would this cause them to bypass us? this statement on the permit concerns me "For this seismic survey it is our intention to include under this permit any mineral interest (where your interest is in the minerals only) owned by you but that we may not be aware of at this time lying within the boundaries of this survey." am I signing something away? this co. is working for Buesa Energy Inc.
