FRISCO, Texas, Nov. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Comstock Resources, Inc. ("Comstock" or the "Company") (CRK) announced today that it has entered into agreements with certain parties to acquire leases on 55,000 acres (53,000 net) in Louisiana and Mississippi for $54.5 million aggregate consideration.  The purchase agreements are subject to customary closing conditions and adjustments.  The Company believes the acreage being acquired is prospective for oil in the Tuscaloosa Marine shale formation and is near successful wells drilled by other industry participants.  The leases cover acreage in Wilkinson and Amite Counties in Mississippi and in East Feliciana and St. Helena Parishes in Louisiana.  Comstock expects to complete the acquisitions in the fourth quarter and is pursuing other lease acquisition opportunities in this and another play prospective for oil development.

The below link will get you to Comstock's presentation page and click on presentation dated  11/14/13 and on page 5 there is a map with the TMS acreage locations.  Most of the acreage is in northern Wilkinson county starting a few miles north of Goodrich's Crosby well.  The rest is mostly in northern St Helena and East Feliciana next to St. Helena parish border.  Looking at the map I foresee some them having WI on Goodrich's wells, especially in the LA parishes.

Comstock Resources 2nd. Quarter report, TMS excerpt.

CRK plans to spud an initial well on its 52,200 net acres (primarily in Wilkinson and Amite Counties in Mississippi and East Feliciana and St. Helena Parishes in Louisiana) in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale this quarter. CRK's initial TMS well is expected to be drilled in Wilkinson County (near the industry Crosby well, which tested at 1,300 BOE/d). CRK has allocated $33 million of this year’s budget to drill 3.0 (2.7 net) TMS wells. CRK believes the key to success with its TMS acreage will be reducing well costs with targeted $13-14 million costs (including R&D) for its initial wells, which it hopes to reduce to ~$11 million in development mode.

Are any landowners getting $1K/acre?

Not that I am aware of.  Comstock claims to be offering $325 and 20% as a max.

The only landowners who seem to be getting $1,000 & 25%, seem to be the various school boards.  If you are in LA, you may be rewarded with patience & location, but in MS the force pooling rules, may doom you to take whatever the operator offers you.

I have a small share of 877 acres in Amite Co. MS.  How do I contact the money folks at Comstock>

You don't.  You wait for them to contact you.  The two things you should do is, 1) make sure your ownership interest is documented in the public records of Amite County, and 2) do a little homework to see what energy companies are active in your specific area of Amite County.  Comstock is only one of the TMS operators active in Amite.  The others are Goodrich, Sanchez and Encana.  Do a little homework before you jump into a lease.
