Thank you for the response. Might you further your insight and knowledge on the Shale and let me know if this paticular area of Elm Grove has shown success or failure according to past results from nearby horizantal well reports. Can you take a guess on when Exco might continue their opearations on any of the three Debroeck 33 wells. My family leased 250 acres in this unit (033 16n,13w) and are confused on how such a large bonus could be payed by any oil company based on a guess.
I tried contacting Exco but have not had my calls returned. Surely they will
get Camterra's blunders in order someday. ?Right?
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
