Wow! Up 16% today.

Up 36% since Friday.

Still lower than the price on Aug 26, only 15 days ago.

The price in June 08 was 460% higher than the price on Sept 4.

No wonder people are reluctant to make long term commitments to using or producing natgas.

If this be normal, than what be insane? :0)
when the price is low the percentages just dont add up. maybe they do if your milking it like a cow... ive been milking the stock market using the same principals for a few months. if the price is low just invest the same amount as you normally would, instead of 100 shares you get 1000 shares and the percentage of return is the same.

I'm wondering ... false rally???? Have you seen The_Baron's storage report topic? YIKES!!! The top numbers on the graph have been extended. :-P
I hope you didn't employ that strategy last fall :-) As I see it, the difference between today's market and last fall's is that last fall you got crushed if you tried to catch the falling knife. The last 6 months, throw a dart and you made money on the long side. But the problems are far from over.

I also believe that as long as there are people like me who are skeptical of the rally, the rally will continue. Musical chairs... ok as long as you get one of the seats when the song stops.
It is football season ... go long, GO LOOONNNG! lol
no carter, i had hardly anything at all in the market last fall. honestly i have not been in the market as much as i am now since the .com crash. i did very well then as i am doing very well now ... "riding the dead cat bounce "
all of my investments are short. the intial idea was to go long, but i was missing out on too much day to day up and down. i have been trading basically the same few stocks over and over.
makes me wonder "who" is actually funding my profits.
at some point i do plan to either park my investments for the long,or pull out all together, but as long as there are these wild swings in the market, i will keep on swinging along too.
I bet the price drops before the strike date. This is just traders making money. They don't make any money when the price doesn't move.
