I heard a rumor that the DCP Facility off US HWY 79 has closed and are conducting operations from another facility.

Furthermore this closure led to about 100 layoffs.  Can anyone provide any insight on this matter.

What is the sentiment that it could get worse for Panola County before it gets better as in terms of the activty that happen in the last few years versus the next few years.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
