Which section is the Burgandy site?
Hi Buck! Yes, I had to check it out!! It's a beautiful sight!! :)

Do you know if a Section 15 well has been permitted and assigned a number? I have friends in that section. I looked at the Sonris map and the only well number I saw was the section 16 well. My friends in Sec 15 haven't received any legal notifications of a well in their section. Would be exciting if true!
Does anyone know all the wells currently being drilled in 16N-14W? Ive noticed all the permits to drill. Just was curious is any of them have been spudded.
Scott, Sanford Well appears to be the only one currently drilling.
I noticed there are quite a few permits to drill in this township. Mostly Chesapeake with Camterra in a couple sections with their lovely verticals. Any chance on Camterra selling their wells to another outfit?
Scott, since Camterra has shown a capability to drill decent horizontal Haynesville Shale wells they may want to hang on to their acreage.
Would you expect for CHK to drill Sec 14 after Sec 15 has been spudded? Wouldn't that be the most logical thing to do. I imagine CHK will be the operator in most of these sections so you would think they would just go right down the row. Also, has anyone heard how many rigs CHK has going in the area? Would they just have one rig go down the row or do they typically bring more than one rig in to HBP a township they have the majority leasehold in. I know I know I keep asking so many questions. I appreciate everyones input.

With all the drilling going on in our area. It just goes to show you we must be in a really good spot.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
