On September 17, 2011 there was a pretty good discussion in this forum about the defense of fracking and some mention of Josh Fox's documentary Gasland II which has already been shown on HBO. Now that he is doing a national tour then I thought it might be a good time to see what our viewers have to say about it.

I honestly was not expecting support on this forum for the movie. I have seen the new version of Gasland and personally thought that it was a slicker version of the original. I was actually thinking that there might be some critial thought from those who have seen the movie to contradict what Fox was saying. Whatever some of us might feel in our gut about Fox there will be many people (possibly
voters) not involved like we are that are probably not going to try too hard to see any other side. Such is the nature of our polarized society, imho. Surely, there are more than a few shalers who have used some of their bonus money to upgrade to HBO. I don't personally have HBO and saw it only once while on a trip.
Thanks for your response.
Gasland I was a propaganda film. I expect the same from II.
HBO is not an "upgrade".
I recommend Frack Nation, if you want some truth about frac'ing.
