Dallas County

The Child Kelley C Well No. 5H will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 12,000 feet within the city limits of Grand Prairie in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the A. Jenkins Survey, A.

Freestone County

XTO Energy will drill the Fails Gas Unit Well No. 33, the Clarke Gas Unit Well No. 31, the Eppes Unit Well No. 8 and the Clarke Gas Unit No. 32.

  The No. 33 will hit 13,500 feet 6.5 miles south of Teague in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-10.

  The No. 31 will hit 13,000 feet 6.4 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field in the J. McAnnulty A-409.

  The No. 8 will hit 14,900 feet .7 miles northeast of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The well is in the N. Peck Survey, A-820 and may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit or Travis Peak) Fields.

  The No. 32 will hit 12,900 feet 5.7 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It is in the J. Lawrence Survey, A-364.

XTO Energy will drill two wells in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to 14,900 feet. The Eppes Unit Well No. 9 and the Eppes Unit Well No. 15 are in the N. Peck Survey, A-820.  The No. 9 is .6 miles east of Donie and the No. 15 is .8 miles southeast of Donie. The wells may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak or Pettit) Fields.

Gregg County

In a lease one mile south of Clarksville in the East Texas Field, the Hobart Key Well No. 9R will be drilled by SND Operating to 4,500 feet in the W.H. Castleberry Survey, A-38.

Harrison County

NFR Energy will drill the D'Asto Well No. 4H and the D'Asto Well No. 5H in the Cartahge (Haynesville Shale) Field to 12,089 feet. These wells are 7.8 miles southeast of Marshall in the D. Earle Survey, A-235.

Houston County

The Goodwin Well No. 1 will be drilled to 13,000 feet 1.4 miles northwest of Lovelady in a wildcat field. Burk Royalty will drill the well in the J.J. Thomas Survey, A-84.

This well may be drilled in the East Fort Trinidad (Buda, Edwards, Glen Rose, and Georgetown) Fields, East Fort Trinidad (Georgetown) Field, the Southeast Fort Trinidad (Edwards) Field or the East Fort Trinidad (Edwards - A-) Field.

Johnson County

The HRS Parker Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled 4.9 miles south of Alvarado in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. in the Ketchum, J B Survey, A-484.

Devon Energy will drill two new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. The Monty Miller Well No. 2H and the Monty Miller Well No. 3H are 3.5 miles northeast of Cleburne in the T.N. Baird Survey, A-40.

Leon County

XTO Energy will drill the Fitz Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 16,700 feet in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is 3.8 miles northeast of Marquez in the S. Parr Survey, A-685 and may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit or Travis) Fields.

BRG Lone Star will drill the Klaras Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 10,500 feet 14 miles northwest of Centerville in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field. This well is in the H. Cartmell Survey, A-163 and may be drilled in the Branton (Rodessa) Field or the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field.

Limestone County

The Crider Gas Unit Well No. 9 will be drilled in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field by XTO Energy to 13,300 feet 6.7 miles southwest of Teague in the G. Sanford Survey, A-505.

XTO Energy will drill the Standley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 16 and the H.D. Thomas Et Al Gas Unit Well No. 19.

  The No. 16 will hit 14,050 feet in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26. This well may also be drilled in the Southeast Farrar, (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.

  The No. 19 will hit 13,300 feet 6.5 miles northwest of Donie in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field in the W. Samford Survey, A-504.

Nacogdoches County

Samson Lone Star will drill the Sun King GU Well No. 1H to 13,500 feet 1.5 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the J.A. Chireno Survey, A-17.

XTO Energy will drill the Vikings DU Well No. 2H to 19,900 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will is in the J.I. Y'Barbo Survey, A-60.

The Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field will see the Pace Unit Well No. 1H drilled by EOG Resources to 13,800 feet 10.8 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the J.A. Schillen Survey, A-507.

Panola County

The S. Gary Well No. 3H and the CGU 8 Well No. 54HH will be drilled by Anadarko E&P in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

  The No. 3H will hit 12,000 feet 11.2 miles southwest of Carthage in the T. Applewhite Survey, A-38.

  The No. 54HH will hit 12,000 feet 4.2 miles southwest of Carthage in the U.J. Longacre Survey, A-403.

XTO Energy will drill the Greer Deep Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 17,000 feet 2.2 miles southwest of DeBerry in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field in the J. Smith Survey, A-586.

Robertson County

The Barnett Gas Unit Well No. 3 and the Walston Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field by XTO Energy.

  The No. 3 is 5.5 miles north of Hearne in the C. Snell Survey, A-340.

  The No. 7 is 4.7 miles northeast of Calvert in the H. Fullerton Jr. Survey, A-143.

EnCana Oil & Gas will drill the Viola Sims Unit Well No. 1 and the James McDonald Unit Well No. 1 to 22,000 feet.  The Viola Sims Unit Well No. 1 is 1.2 miles east of Hearne in the F. Ruiz Survey, A-41 in a wildcat field.

The James McDonald Unit Well No. 1 is 5.5 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The well is in the P. Pereira/J&M Grande Survey, A-32.

Sabine County

In a lease 5.7 miles north of Geneva in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Richards GU SBN Well No. 1H will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 18,000 feet in the J. Harton Survey, A-114.

Shelby County

Classic Operating will drill the South Naquin GU Well No. 1H to 16,000 feet four miles west of Joaquin in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the G.R. Rains Survey, A-597.

In a lease 1.9 miles south of Patroon in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Durham GU SLB Well No. 1H will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 18,000 feet in the J. Buckley Survey, A-41.

XTO Energy will drill the Hughes Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 15,000 feet 12.1 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This is in the J.H. Lester Survey, A-439.

Smith County

The Hitts Lake Unit Well No. 103D will be drilled to 10,000 feet 6.4 miles north of Tyler in the Hitts Lake (Paluxy) Field by Valence Operating in the J. Lane Survey, A-557. The well may be drilled in the Hitts Lake (Rodessa) Field.

Tarrant County

The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see three new wells drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 9,000 feet.

  The Airborne Well No. 4H is 1.5 miles southwest of Euless in the J.R. Wallace Survey, A-1699.

  The Engler-Mann Well No. 3H is within the city limits of North Richland Hills in the J.C. Yates Survey, A-1753.

  The Largent Well No. 3H is within the city limits of North Richland Hills in the M. Lynch Survey, A-953.

XTO Energy will drill the Fleet Unit Well No. 7H, the Edwards Riverhills A Unit Well No. 16H, the Guy Unit Well No. A 5H and the TXU TRWD N Unit Well No. 5H in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.

  The No. 7H is 3.1 miles southwest of Everman in the H. Little Survey, A-930.

  The No. 16H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the BBB&C RR Co. Survey, A-217.

  The No. A 5H is 2.6 miles northeast of Burleson in the H. Little Survey, A-930.

  The No. 5H is 1.1 miles southeast of Kennedale in the M. Garcia Survey, A-564.

The East Newark Field will see the Trinity Unit J Well No. 1H drilled by Titan Operating to 9,000 feet 2.4 miles southwest of Southlake in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the W.E. Crooks Survey, A-295.


COMPLETIONS

Dallas County

Chesapeake Operating drilled the West Carpo Well No. 3H to 12,977 feet 15.1 miles southwest of Dallas in the East Newark Field. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 5.605 million cubic feet of gas in the Barnett Shale.

Freestone County

XTO Energy completed two wells in the Teague Field.

  The J.W. Brown Gas Unit Well No. 7 hit 12,410 feet 1.4 miles southwest of Teague and potentialed 2.228 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke.

  The W. A. Keils Gas Unit Well No. 8 hit 12,510 feet 2.4 miles south of Teague and potentialed 974,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Sand.

The Jolly Well No. 1 and the Buffalo Creek Gas Unit Well No. 12 were completed in the Bear Grass Field by XTO Energy.

  No. 1 hit 13,100 feet 1.9 miles southeast of Donie and on a 15/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 516,000 cubic feet of gas.

  The No. 12 hit 13,000 feet 1.9 miles east of Donie and on a 13/64-inch choke the well potentialed 654,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Harrison County

The Carthage Field has seen the Nancy Brewster Gas Unit Well No. 8 completed by Valence Operating to 12,228 feet 6.5 miles southwest of Marshall. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 921,000 cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.

Johnson County

The East Newark Field has seen four new wells completed by Devon Energy.

  The Cathy Ann Tindall Well No. 5H hit 12,753 feet 10.1 miles northeast of Carthage and potentialed 3.497 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Cathy Ann Tindall Well No. 6H hit 11,062 feet 10.1 miles northeast of Carthage and potentialed 3.791 million cubic feet of gas on a 30/64-inch choke.

  The Cathy Ann Tindall Well No. 7H hit 11,194 feet 10.1 miles northeast of Carthage and potentialed 3.485 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Muzyka-Decker (SA) Well No. 1H hit 11,722 feet 12.2 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 5.162 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed the Ralph Well No. 2H in the East Newark Field to 11,928 feet 1.2 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 3.063 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Limestone County

XTO Energy completed the Morton No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 19 to 12,860 feet 14.2 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 993,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

In a lease 7.3 miles southeast of Groesbeck, in the Freestone Field, the P Rothermel-Nettles-Miles (SA) Well No. 1H was completed by Devon Energy. This well hit 14,295 feet and potentialed 6.005 million cubic feet of gas on a 35/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

On a 15/64-inch choke the W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 24 potentialed 1.636 million cubic feet of gas. The well was completed to 13,936 feet 15.7 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field by XTO Energy. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

XTO Energy completed two wells.

  The Hudson "B" Gas Unit Well No. 11 hit 12,967 feet 12.4 miles east of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field and on a 11/64-inch choke. The well potentialed 1.701 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

  The W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 25 hit 14,026 feet 15.7 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field and potentialed 1.419 million cubic feet of gas on a 17/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

 

Nacogdoches County

Exco Operating completed the Walker SU D Well No. 1H to 19,489 feet 5.7 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 23.803 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Samson Lone Star completed two new wells in the Carthage Field.

  On a 12/64-inch choke, the Revolution 9 GU Well No. 1H was completed to 19,505 feet 17 miles east of Nacogdoches. On a 12/64 inch choke, potentiated 8.502 million cubic feet of gas.

  On a 18/64-inch choke, the Glass Onion GU Well No. 1H potentialed 12.333 million cubic feet of gas. The well was completed to 18,780 feet 16.25 miles east of Nacogdoches. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

EOG Resources completed three wells in the Carthage Field.

  The Attoyac River Gas Unit Well No. 1H hit 18,079 feet four miles northeast of Chireno and potentialed 8.782 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Attoyac River Gas Unit Well No. 2H hit 18,190 feet four miles northeast of Chireno and potentialed 12.068 million cubic feet of gas on a 17/64-inch choke.

  The Dorothy Unit Well No. 1H hit 18,780 feet 11.4 miles of Nacogdoches and potentialed 8.327 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Enexco completed the S.F.O.T. Well No. 2H to 14,170 feet two miles west of Nacogdoches in the Loco Bayou Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 7.314 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the James Lime.

Panola County

On a .462-inch choke the Bess Smith Broderick GU 2 Well No. 4H potentialed 3.387 million cubic feet of gas.  ExxonMobil completed the well to 14,195 feet 8.5 miles of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Rusk County

Valence Operating completed the Bath Unit Well No. 2 to 12,230 feet 3.3 miles southwest of Tatum in the Carthage Field. The well potentialed 835,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville.

On a 14/64-inch choke the Tillison Well No. 1 potentialed 529,000 cubic feet of gas. Howell Oil & Gas completed the well to 7,607 feet seven miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden Field. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated.

San Augustine County

On a 20/64-inch choke the Ericsson Well No. 1H potentialed 12.936 million cubic feet of gas. SM Energy completed the well to 19,190 feet 1.8 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

EOG Resources completed the Bennett Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 18,431 feet 7.3 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.671 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Smith County

Russell-Fort Trinidad completed the Rice Oil Unit Well No. 1 to 8,285 feet 5.6 miles southwest of Gladewater in the Manziel Bros. Field. The well flowed with six barrels of crude, choke size not recorded. Production is in the Pettit.

Tarrant County

Devon Energy completed four wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Vann Cattle-Day (SA) Well No. 1H hit 10,777 feet three miles southwest of Haslet and potentialed 2.737 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Hencken Unit "A" Fed Well No. 8H hit 12,924 feet 1.8 miles south of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.372 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Hencken Unit "A" Fed Well No. 10H hit 12,990 feet 1.8 miles south of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.897 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

  The Hencken Unit "A" Fed Well No. 9H hit 12,555 feet 1.8 miles south of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.986 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed five wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Rogers Well No. 2H hit 13,560 feet 10.5 miles southeast of Fort Worth and potentilaed 3.060 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The JLB "A" Well No. 2H hit 11,277 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.407 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Ridglea CC Well No. 1H hit 11,127 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.482 million cubic feet of gas on a 0.75-inch choke.

  The Western Hills Well No. 20H hit 11,115 feet .9 miles southwest of White Settlement and potentialed 2.573 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

  The Rogers Well No. 3H hit 14,578 feet 10.5 miles southeast of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.318 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

XTO Energy completed the Prime Rail Unit Well No. 7H to 12,098 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth in the East Newark Field. On a 33/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.098 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Quicksilver Resources completed the Alliance Olivet Unit Well No. W3H in the East Newark Field to 14,482 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Haslet. The well potentialed 6.582 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Nice James Lime well!

7200' length, 8600 feet in depth.  Maybe some liquids in that one?  Its in an interesting location to....  

 

Catfish, haven't heard anything on the Victoria Anne unit.

Anyone have any information regarding the Victoria Anne unit off of FM 220  in the Denning area ?  Have they fraced yet, I heard the drilling rig has been gone for some time.
