A Wildcat Field will see the Whitehead 1 drilled by LLOG Exploration Texas to
13,000 feet. This well will be drilled 3.7 miles southwest of Lovelady in J. Walker Survey, A-1123.
Johnson County
The Verdia Boles 2H and 3H will be drilled 14.5 miles northeast of Cleburne in East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will bottom at 9,000 feet in V. Anderson Survey, A-1.
Devon Energy will drill Don Balentine 3H and Muzyka-Decker (SA) 1H in East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The 3H will be drilled 10.11 miles northeast of Cleburne in M.A. Mitchell Survey, A-559.
The 1H will be drilled 12.2 miles northeast of Cleburne in V. Hamilton Survey, A-330.
Leon County
Gresham Trust Unit A Well 1 will be drilled 5 miles southwest of Centerville in a Wildcat Field. EnCana Oil & Gas will drill to 20,000 feet in A.W. Cooke Survey, A-159.
In a lease 15.3 miles northwest of Centerville in Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field, the Busy B Gas Unit Well 2 will be drilled by BRG Lone Star to 10,500 feet. The well will lie in T. Toby Survey, A-883, and may be drilled in a Wildcat, Bear Grass (Pettit) or Branton (Rodessa) fields.
Limestone County
Lenamon-Thurman-Jackson C (SA) 1H will be drilled 6.2 miles southeast of Groesbeck in North Personville (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Devon Energy will drill to 11,000 feet in M.R. Palacios Survey, A-21.
Nacogdoches County
Lilly 1H will be drilled by EOG Resources in Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. It will bottom at 13,900 feet in J. Cordova & Bros. Survey, A-20.
Robertson County
Bilsing Gas Unit 2 Well 3 will be drilled 6.6 miles northwest of Franklin in Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The well will be drilled to 12,500 feet by XTO Energy in A. McMillan Survey, A-224.
Shelby County
Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field will see J.C. McSwain Gas Unit B 1H drilled by BP America to 17,560 feet, 11.6 miles south of Center in O. Mitchell Survey, A-1205.
In a lease 2.6 miles northeast of Martinsville in Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Zips DU 1H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 18,600 feet in W. Johnson, W Survey.
Tarrant County
East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see Chesapeake Operating drill to 9,000 feet.
Engler 3H will be in North Richland Hills in J.C. Yates Survey, A-1753.
McCulley 4H will be 6.7 miles southeast of Fort Worth in E.P. Parris Survey, A-1223.

J.T. Taylor 12 is 8.9 miles southeast of Jefferson in Woodlawn Field. Forest Oil drilled to 10,058 feet. On adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.015 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Travis Peak.
Johnson County
Durbin 4H was drilled 4.6 miles west of Joshua in East Newark Field. The well bottoms at 12,102 feet and was drilled by EOG Resources. It potentialed 4.356 million cubic feet of gas on 64/64-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale formation.
Chesapeake Operating drilled three wells in East Newark Field.
Terry Well 6H bottoms at 10,419 feet, 11.5 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 3.903 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke.
Mattingly 1H bottoms at 9,870 feet, 11.6 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.685 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
Mattingly 2H bottoms at 9,760 feet, 11.6 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 3.021 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Barnett Shale.
Nacogdoches County
Cameron Minerals SU 1H was drilled to 19,844 feet, 4.5 miles southwest of Chireno in Carthage Field by Exco Operating. It potentialed 23.857 million cubic feet of gas on 22/64-inch choke. Production is in Haynesville Shale formation.
On a 21/64-inch choke, Big Moon 1 potentialed 300,000 cubic feet of gas. It was drilled to 12,700 feet, 19 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in a Wildcat Field by Sonerra Resources.
Atkinson 1H and Sutton 1H were drilled by EOG Resources in Carthage Fied.
Atkinson is 2.3 miles southeast of Chireno at 18,777 feet and potentialed 15.185 million cubic feet of gas on 26/64-inch choke.
Sutton is 2.3 miles southeast of Chireno at 20,073 feet and potentialed 22.155 million cubic feet of gas on 25/64-inch choke. Production is in Haynesville Shale.
Panola County
In a lease 4.75 miles west of Joaquin in Carthage Field, Wiener Estate A Well 1 was drilled by Classic Operating to 11,135-feet and potentialed 9,000 cubic feet of gas on 26/64-inch choke. Production is in Haynesville Shale formation. (Note: the IP on G-1 report was 79 mcf, production comingled from Cotton Valley and Haynesville. jf)
The Maizie Lynch 1 is 14.3 miles southeast of DeBerry in Belle Bower Field. Bowles Energy drilled to 7,010 feet. The well potentialed 144,000 cubic feet of gas (choke size not recorded).
Production is in Travis Peak.
San Augustine County
Gauged on 28/64-inch choke, Oglesbee 1H potentialed 18.418 million cubic feet of gas. EOG Resources drilled to 18,779 feet, 2.7 miles southwest of San Augustine in Carthage Field. Production is in Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
The WB 358 A Well 4H is 9.8 miles southwest of Fort Worth in East Newark Field.
Chesapeake Operating drilled to 8,583 feet. It potentialed 669,000 cubic feet of gas on 0.75-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake completed two wells in East Newark Field.
TRWD Bend 1H bottoms at 11,166 feet in Fort Worth and potentialed 6.873 million cubic feet of gas on 0.75-inch choke.
I-20 JV 1H bottoms at 11,227 feet 4.67 miles southeast of Arlington and potentialed 3.596 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale.
Devon Energy drilled Lottie Barton Johnson 44 in East Newark Field to 10,576 feet, 2 miles west of Haslet. On 22/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.930 million cubic feet of gas. Production is
