Freestone County

The FR Hill-Peyton-Neal B (SA) Well No. 1H will be drilled to 12,500 feet 5.1 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. Devon Energy will drill this well in the M.R. Palacios Survey, A-20.

The Aker Monitoring Well No. 2 will be drilled to 7,000 feet 6.4 miles northeast of Streetman in the Aker (Woodbine H2S Disposal) Field. This well will be drilled by Enbridge G&P (East Texas) in the J. Roque Survey, A-525.

Harrison County

New Century Exploration will drill the Arch Nesbitt Well No. 1H to 7,250 feet 5.5 miles northwest of Marshall in a wildcat field in the F. Calvillo Survey, A-139. This well may be drilled in the Woodlawn (Pettit 6500) Field, the Southwest Woodlawn (Pettit 6650) Field, the South Woodlawn (Pettit) Field or the Woodlawn (Pettit-Page) Field.

Houston County

In a lease 6.5 miles east of Weldon in the Trinity Field, the Trinity State Bank Well No. 12 will be drilled by Houston Petroleum to 2,500 feet in the C.M. Ellis Survey, a-371.

Johnson County

XTO Energy will drill the RFS Jimenez Unit SA Well No. 2H to 12,000 feet 4.3 miles east of Burleson in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the S.C. Sullivan Survey, A-808.

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Rich-Olivia (SA) Well No. 1H to 9,000 feet 4.3 miles southwest of Cleburne in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the C. McMillen Survey, A-573.

XTO Energy will drill the Wilkinson Unit Well No. 2H and the Wilkinson Unit Well No. 5H in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. These wells will hit 12,000 feet 3.5 miles northeast of Alvarado in the E. Hendricks Survey, A-328.

Marion County

The Haynes Well No. 1 will be drilled by GMX Resources in a wildcat field. This well will hit 10,200 feet five miles northeast of Smithland in the W. Hamilton Survey, A-194.

Nacogdoches County

EOG Resources will drill the Haynes Unit Well No. 1H to 14,000 feet 7.8 miles northwest of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the G.W. Rector Survey, A-470.

Samson Lone Star will drill the Cayenne GU 1 Well No. 1H, the Sgt. Pepper GU Well No. 1HR and the Gwendolyn GU 1 Well No. 5. The first two wells are in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

  The No. 1H well will hit 13,400 feet 1.5 miles southeast of Chireno in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.

  The No. 1HR well will be drilled 18 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.

  The No. 5 will hit 12,000 feet 11.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the West Douglass (Travis Peak) Field.       This well is in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21 and may be drilled in a wildcat field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field, the East Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field or the Miyagi (Pettit) Field.

EOG Resources will drill the Wallace Unit Well No. 2H to 14,000 feet 9.5 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field in the J. M. Mora Survey, A-827.

Navarro County

The A.C. Ramsey Well No. 1, the A.C. Ramsey Well No. 2 and the A.C. Ramsey Well No. 3 will be drilled by Bright Hawk Operating Co. in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field. These wells are 6.2 miles east of Corsicana in the J. Smith Survey, A-726 and will hit 2,450 feet.

Panola County

Valence Operating will drill the Sterrett Well No. 14 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 12,000 feet 3.7 miles northeast of Beckville in the J.N. Williams Survey, A-715. This well may be drilled in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

Rusk County

The Craig GU Well No. 4H will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum in the East Henderson (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is 5.1 miles southwest of Henderson in the J. Roome Survey, A-668.

In a lease eight miles southeast of Henderson, in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Jarrell Unit Well No. 10H will be drilled by NFR Energy to11,535 feet in the W. Orrick Survey, A-614.

Smith County

The J.W. Hollingsworth Well No. 1 will be drilled to 7,700 feet 2.8 miles northeast of Sand Flat in a wildcat field by Goldston Oil in the T. Rives Survey, A-801.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating will drill the White A Well No. 4H and the Ballard Well No. 5H in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

  The No. 4H is within the city limits of Arlington in the W.W. Warnell Survey, A-1612.

  The Ballard Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Arlington in the W. Welch Survey, A-1668.

Chesapeake Operating will drill 10 wells to 9,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

  The Horned Frog Well No. 2H, the Horned Frog Well No. 4H and the Horned Frog Well No. 5H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the E. Sutherland Survey, A-1438.

  The Vandelay Well No. 6H is within the city limits of Euless in the A. Bradford Survey, A-152.

  The Highland Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the S. Woody Survey, A-1638.

  The Watson South Well No. 1H and the Watson South Well No. 2H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the E.S. Ellis Survey, A-484.

  The White A Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Tarrant in the W.W. Warnell Survey, A-1612.

  The Links Well No. 3H is within the city limits of Arlington in the W. Welch Survey, A-1668.

  The Claneco A Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the T.K. Hamby Survey, A-815.

XTO Energy will drill the Carter SE Unit Well No. B22H to 12,000 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the D.C. Pace Survey, A-1245.

Upshur County

The Ernest Bowers Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled by Verado Energy to 12,000 feet 6.5 miles west of Gilmer in the Rosewood (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the W. McFadden Survey, A-295.

COMPLETIONS

Dallas County

The Childs Kelley A Well No. 1H was completed by Chesapeake Operating in the East Newark Field. This well hit 13,890 feet 4.6 miles southeast of Arlington. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 6.721 million cubic feet of gas in the Barnett Shale.

Freestone County

Apache Corp. completed two new wells.

  The Folk Gas Unit Well No. 10H hit 16,130 feet 5.2 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. This well potentialed 16.864 million cubic feet of gas on a 34/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

  The Moody Estate Gas Unit 2 Well No. 9H hit 17,745 feet 2.3 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague Field and potentialed 12.834 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

XTO Energy completed four new wells.

  The Barnett Gas Unit Well No. 2 hit 12,864 feet 4.5 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field and potentialed 373,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit B.

  The H.L. & P. Gas Unit Well No. 28 hit 14,359 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Donie and potentialed 1.049 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

  The Roper Gas Unit Well No. 4HR hit 14,790 feet 1.3 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field and potentialed 4.569 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The H.L. & P. Gas Unit Well No. 30 hit 14,120 feet 2.3 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field and potentialed 1.991 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

The Clarke Gas Unit Well No. 30 was completed by XTO Energy to 12,306 feet in the Teague Field. The well potentialed 3.221 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consoli-dated formation.

Harrison County

Devon Energy completed the Ellis "A" Gas Unit Well No. 1H hit 13,486 feet 7.9 miles northwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. On a 44/64-inch choke the well potentialed 141,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Hill County

EOG Resources completed two wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Cole Well No. 3H hit 13,830 feet two miles southwest of Osceola and potentialed 2.301 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The Cole Well No. 4H hit 11,885 feet two miles southwest of Osceola and potentialed 1.353 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Johnson County

The East Newark Field has seen the Parnell Well No. 11H and the City of Cleburne Well No. 12H completed by Chesapeake Operating.

  The No. 11H well hit 11,439 feet four miles northwest of Cleburne and potentialed 2.811 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The No. 12H well hit 9,870 feet 4.6 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 3.136 million cubic feet of gas. No choke size was recorded. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

EOG Resources completed nine new wells in the East Newark Field. These wells were gauged on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The Kolar Well No. 11H hit 11,349 feet 3.6 miles northeast of Godley and potentialed 2.709 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Richardson Kolar PSA Well No. 4H hit 12,230 feet 2.9 miles northeast of Godley and potentialed 3.725 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Ormsby Well No. 3H hit 9,911 feet eight miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 2.297 million cubic feet of gas.

  The U. S. Lime Well No. 27H jot 9,488 feet 6.1 miles southwest of Bono and potentialed 3.190 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Thelma Louise Well No. 6H hit 11,272 feet two miles northeast of Alvarado and potentialed 1.845 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Thelma Louise Well No. 7H hit 11,162 feet 2.2 miles northeast of Alvarado and potentialed 2.355 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Thelma Louise Well No. 8H hit 10,956 feet 2.2 miles northeast of Alvarado and potentialed 2.975 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Evans/Randle Well No. 5H hit 9,505 feet 6.2 miles northwest of Godley and potentialed 1.091 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Gallagher Well No. 6H hit 9,265 feet 4.4 miles southwest of Bono potentialed 5.330 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed two additional wells in the East Newark Field.

  The Burleson Elks Well No. 1H hit 13,440 feet 13.3 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 4.779 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

  The Little Hoss 7 Well No. D 1H hit 11,835 feet 14.1 miles northwest of Cleburne and on a 64/64-inch choke potentialed 2.002 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

XTO Energy completed the Lewis Unit Well No. B7H and the Lewis Unit Well No. B9H  5.3 miles north of Alvarado in the East Newark.

  The No. B7H well hit 7,276 feet and on a 50/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.039 million cubic feet of gas.

  The No. B9H well hit 9,348 feet and on a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.991 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Limestone County

TXO Energy completed the Beachcomber Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 17H to 17,700 feet 4.7 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.087 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Nacogdoches County

Sonerra Resources Corp. completed the Shooting Star Well No. 1 to 11,512 feet 15 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Gates Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 519,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.

Panola County

On a 48/64-inch choke the Lazarine Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2H potentialed 5.666 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by Indigo Minerals to 12,980 feet 11.3 miles west of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

XTO Energy completed three new wells in the Carthage Field.

  The New Horizons Well No. D 1H hit 17,685 feet 8.8 miles northwest of Beckville and potentialed 4.396 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The Briggs-Moreland Well No. 14H hit 16,225 feet 7.3 miles southwest of DeBerry and potentialed 8.331 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.

  The C.O. Black Well No. 9H hit 15,422 feet 10.8 miles north of Carthage and potentialed 7.147 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Devon Energy completed the Hull Unit A Well No. A102 to 11,094 feet 4.1 miles east of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 664,000 cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.

The Chadwick Unit Well No. 20T was completed to 8,185 feet 3.4 miles north of Carthage in the Carthage Field by Devon Energy. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 194,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak 6400.

Robertson County

In a lease 12 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field, the Beal Estate Gas Unit Well No. 17 was completed by XTO Energy to 13,220 feet. The well potentialed 1.334 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

XTO Energy completed the Elvin Barnett Unit Well No. 9 to 14,225 feet 1.7 miles west of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.488 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Sabine County

In a lease 11.4 miles northwest of Milam, in the Carthage Field, the Bridge Well No. 1H was completed by Chesapeake Operating to 15,618 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 17.237 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

San Augustine County

EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Black Stone Unit A-43 Well No. 2H to 18,545 feet 12.1 miles southwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.928 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

The Eubanks Unit Well No. 1H was completed to 16,640 feet 5.6 miles southeast of Center by EnCana Oil & in the Carthage Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.576 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Unit Petroleum completed the Pearson Well No. 1 to 12,172 feet 8.6 miles west of Center in the Stockman Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 24,000 cubic feet of gas in the Travis Peak.

XTO Energy Inc. has completed five new wells in the Carthage Field.

  The Sun Devils DU Well No. 1H hit 19,810 feet ten miles south of Center and potentialed 10.875 million cubic feet of gas on a 19/64-inch choke.

  The Crimson Tide DU Well No. 1H hit 17,780 feet 3.5 miles southeast of Shelbyville and potentialed 5.127 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.

  The Fightin Illini DU Well No. 1H hit 1,794 feet 10.7 miles south of Center and potentialed 6.347 million cubic feet of gas on a 17/64-inch choke.

  The Utes DU Well No. 1H hit 18,250 feet 9.5 miles southwest of Shelbyville and potentialed 11.338 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.

  The Vandals DU Well No. 1H hit 17,851 feet 11 miles south of Center and potentialed 8.286 million cubic feet of gas on a 13/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Tarrant County

Devon Energy has completed the Clifton Tannahill Gas Unit "A" Well No. 3H, the Boaz-Morris Matson (SA) Well No. 3H, the Hyde-Hickman "D" Well No. 1H and the Hyde-Hickman "E" Well No. 1H in the East Newark Field.

  The Clifton Tannahill Gas Unit "A" Well No. 3H hit 10,125 feet 4.5 miles west of White Settlement and on an open choke the well potentialed 753,000 cubic feet of gas.

  The Boaz-Morris Matson (SA) Well No. 3H is four miles north of Saginaw and hit 11,186 feet. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.091 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Hyde-Hickman "D" Well No. 1H hit 11,249 feet 2.3 miles northwest of White Settlement and potentialed 3.754 million cubic feet of gas on a 42/64-inch choke.

  The Hyde-Hickman "E" Well No. 1H hit 11,778 feet 1.7 miles north of White Settlement and potentialed 2.978 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Ervin Unit Well No. 4H and the Ervin Unit Well No. 5H in the Newark, East Field.

  The No. 4H hit 11,655 feet 2.5 miles of Mansfield and potentialed 5.414 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke.

  The No. 5H hit 11,125 feet 2.5 miles northeast of Mansfield and potentialed 4.899 million cubic feet of gas on a 32/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

On a 28/64-inch choke the Sansom Park Unit Well No. 4H potentialed 1.569 million cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed this well four miles west of Fort Worth in the East Newark Field to 11,178 feet. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The Harbour View "C" Well No. 1H was completed by Crow Creek Operating to 9,855 feet. No location was recorded. On a 19/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.501 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed six wells in the East Newark Field. The wells were gauged on a .75-inch choke.

  The Landing Well No. 2H hit 8,534 feet 4.1 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 5.137 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Jammer A Well No. 2H hit 10,158 feet 12.5 miles east of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.707 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Jammer A Well No. 5H hit 11,280 feet 12.5 miles east of Fort Worth and potentialed 5.096 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Bogi Well No. 2H hit 12,128 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.578 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Bogi Well No. 4H hit 10,984 feet within the city limits of Kennedale and potentialed 5.503 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Greenbriar Well No. 1H hit 12,488 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.151 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The East Newark Field has seen the Everman Unit Well No. 2H and the Everman Unit Well No. 4H completed by Range Production.

  The No. 2H hit 10,678 feet 1.6 miles west of Everman and potentialed 1.067 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.

  The No. 4H hit 11,310 feet 1.6 miles west of Everman and potentialed 3.259 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

XTO Energy completed three additional wells in the East Newark Field.

  The D Love Unit Well No. B 4H hit 10,375 feet 1.1 miles southeast of Kennedale and potrentialed 3.269 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.

  The Freddie Unit Well No. 7H hit 9,631 feet 1.7 miles southwest of Rendon and potentialed 2.096 million cubic feet of gas on a 30/64-inch choke.

  The Sansom Park Unit Well No. 2H hit 10,962 feet four miles west of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.129 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
