I am trying to find out if this is the correct well serial #242358 for Sec. 30 16N R10W, Elm Grove Field.

Sonris states:

441' FSL & 680' FWL OF SEC 19. PBHL: 250' FSL & 1140' FWL OF SEC 30
But the description has Sec. 19, T16N R10W, Trying to locate well about to be drilled in our section and I have tried, unsuccessfully, to locate correct serial #.

The SONRIS database lists wells by their surface location.  This well has it's drilling pad (surface location) in Section 19 but as it's name (30H) states it is drilling into Section 30.  Horizontal wells often are drilled from an adjoining section in order to get the maximum lateral length.  The location description reads, 441' From the South Line & 680' From the West Line of Section 19 with Planned Bottom Hole Location 250' From the South Line & 1140' From the West Line of Section 30.  Mineral owners of record in Section 30 will receive the royalties from this well.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
