I know the main opinion about selling mineral rights is "Don't!" But I'm on the other side of the coin right now trying to make a fair offer to someone to buy their rights- someone I know. So I'm not interested in cheating them- just want to make a fair offer. What do we think a fair offer is? I always was taught to not even consider for less than 3x annual royalty income.

GD---re: reply---you are correct I agree with you 100%. I did not think your comment was directed at me but some things where deleted I understand ---so just wanted to be sure. My comments about minerals value posted are IMO only and just for more information to those who are considering selling their minerals to give them additional info to think about. I like you don't want to see snakes preying on the naive innocents on this site. I consider myself openly honest person who desires to be helpful and open myself to continue to learn
GD---thanks for comment
adubu, nothing I said last night had anything to do with you. You are a great site member with very good posts.
Thanks GD.
So far, I think we all owe Neeky, who appears to be a new Shaler , an apology! No one has yet to answer the question that he has presented for discussion. Now, lets quit worrying about what eachother does(and is). Let's talk oil and gas! Neeky, I apologize!
Thank you for contributing. I believe this discussion has used up its useful life.
