Florida Waste and Recyling Company Turns to CNG

Florida company Choice Environmental Services goes green with CNG
Choice Environmental Services (Choice), a provider of solid waste and recycling services to the community of South Florida, has become the first fleet in Florida to roll out a fleet of compressed natural gas trucks, according to a report in Work Truck online. The company operates extensively through Southern Florida.

In late October Choice also opened a CNG refuse truck fueling station, which was designed, built and is being operated by Clean Energy Fuels Corp. The private time-fill station is reported to be located on property owned by Choice, and will support the deployment of the waste and recycling firm’s new fleet of clean-burning natural gas refuse trucks. Gas is supplied by TECO Peoples Gas, Florida’s largest natural gas distribution company.
