FOX News featuring "shale" information throughout today, Tuesday, January 5

FOX News is doing what appears to be hourly reports today on "shale" information, America's gold rush. The main reporter is in Pennsylvania talking primarily about the Marcellus Shale but regularly referring to other shale exploration sites in the U.S., including impact on local economies, environmental issues, human interest stories (farmers hiring financial planners, etc.), leasing contracts, companies involved and where they're from, etc.

I heard a good, very concise, explanation as to what "shale" deposits mean, how they're drilled, the fracturing process, etc., as well as all the other non-drilling services required to drill a "shale" well.

I've seen two reports today, both have been well presented with quite a few references made to the Haynesville Shale and a map shown of shale deposits across the country.
