Hi,
I'm the director of new media for FrackNation, the film that will finally tell the truth about hydraulic fracturing.
We heard from folks all across the country, folks just like you, that the truth about "fracking" was being irresponsibly distorted by the media and films like "Gasland." We're journalists--maybe some of the last few left--and the story of natural gas exploration in America and abroad is one of the most important stories yet untold. We want to change that.
Over the last 50 days, we've raised over $170,000 to help bring the truth to the big screen. These are not donations from gas companies--which we've returned--but small donations from over 2,600 landowners, farmers, ranchers, people simply concerned with the truth.
But we still need your help.
We have 10 days to go with our fundraising, and Josh Fox's next film has a budget hundreds of thousands of dollars larger than ours. We need even more funds to help tell the truth.
If you contribute anything, even a $1, you'll be named an executive producer on the film. That's how much your support means to us. And even if you can't contribute monetarily, your moral support is equally important. Please share our link with everyone you know: www.fracknation.com.
Or to watch the first clip from the film: http://kck.st/FrackNationClip
Thank you for your time and for your efforts in fighting the scare stories.
Cheers,
Daniel T. Richards

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
