It looks like the unit size might be 2560 acres. That would be 4 sections with 2 mile spacing between wells. 

If I recall, the unit size is going to be 900 acres. Had a letter sometime back fro our O&G attorneu, will try and find it later.

Left off a 0 there. It is was proposed as a 9000 ac unit. This falls under La. R.S. 30:5.1 - Ultra Deep Pool Order, which allows units up to 9000 ac for wells below verticle depths of 15,000 ft.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
