Thank you.  GHSers send Henry your numbers.  Or, Are you still receiving royalty payments?  IMO, Henry's project is important documentation that an individual royalty owner could never find alone.  As a group, we provide information that cannot be uncovered easily through a single royalty owner's efforts.  That is the point of GHS.

FYI, There are individuals looking into these numbers....and the discrepancies among $/mcf received by royalty owners...I do not know what the outcome will be, but IMO, something is "amiss."  And, Henry's efforts are quite important to us.

 

Henry, the Chk UMO is "Cedar Grove" Field.

Thanks for the good words.  It is important for people to contribute their prices to this survey.  I have already had reports back from a few people who used this survey to figure out that they were not being paid properly.  They were able to go back to their operator and receive back-payments for the money they were owed.  The survey also will help the few of you who are still unleased -- it highlights the importance of getting cost-free royalties.  The numbers are also being used by people who are looking to litigate against companies that they believe are not paying fair prices.  So please, please, send me your prices.  If you haven't contibuted so far, please send me a "Friend Request" and I'll accept.  You can then send me your prices via GHS email.  I never reveal names, or even your GHS name, to anyone.

Henry, attached are 2011 prices for the gas indices relevant to the Haynesville Shale region.  These three indices are the closest "market" prices before any deductions for gas gathering, treating, etc.  I also included a chart showing the basis for 2009 forward.
