Renewable energy has no significant reduction on carbon emission only switching electric power generation from coal to NG and switching transportation fuel from oil to NG will rapidly reduce carbon emission. Also in report fracking has no risk to surface water. If the UK understands maybe US Liberal Administration will learn same and start pushing NG rather than wind, etc. With time NG prices will make Horizontal Shale drilling again possible to make money.
