I recieved a letter today from MKB Royalty Group wanting to buy my minerals in Harper County for $2,000 per acre . Has anyone had any dealings with this company ?   I am leased to Shell.  Not really intrested in seling . Is this common pracrtice ?

A friend in Barber County got $1000 per acre as lease bonus with 1/5 royalty.  Shred that piece of paper.

I did lease for $1,000 per ac bonus with 1/5 royalty .    But Wasnt expecting to get a letter of offer to purchase . Think  I will hold and hope for the best!

Don't sell just wait!!!!!!!!!

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
