Haynesville/Bossier Shale Rig Count (8/10/12)
The attached shows a summary of the most active operators in the play and the parishes/counties with the most current drilling activity.
The rig count in the play dropped by 3 to 24 after being constant at 27 for the last month. Only 6 parishes/counties have active rigs in the play with none in Red River Parish for the first time since early 2008. In Texas Anadarko moved two rigs from Panola County.
