I have two friends from the Sexton, north Sabine co. area that leased to DSI Dixon Services Inc. out of Tyler for 2500 per acre plus 25% royalty. DSI tel. # is800-283-1696 or 903-579-9300. If the Bronco #25 rig at the Hall location brings in a good one then landowners may get more but that has been about tops lately.DSI said that they wanted to lease more in this area. Gas closed today at 4.08. Needs to go up!!

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
