Hosston, Bossier, Upper CV, Middle CV, Lower CV Horizontals

I always wondered when an operator would attempt horizontals into all these formations. It looks like Wildhorse (aka Memorial Resource Development) is going to try to produce using horizontal wells in all these formations in pretty much the same field. I like this company. They are aggressive and are doing things other companies just talk about. I didn't include an example of a LCV well because those are well documented. I know the Bossier is productive in western LA and east TX but I don't know  of a horizontal Bossier outside of that area.

This activity by Wildhorse is indeed encouraging, North LA. The Brazzel 29-32 H Hosston and Mid-Cotton Valley horizontals will apparently be drilled from the same pad. Also, as you mentioned on another thread, the projected vertical depths of these 2 wells differ by only 18 feet even though one would think the Hosston and Mid-Cotton Valley would differ by several hundred feet. Maybe this indicates that for one or both of these wells they will drill a pilot hole first and then move back up-hole to start the lateral.
