Any info on Haynesville wells Atkins Etal 6-7 HC 001 and M & K Min 33-4 HC 001? I think drilling completed on first one. Ensight Energy doing drilling.

The rig has as moved on so both wells should be at total depth (TD).  No Work Permit issued yet for completion operations.

SET 5 & 5 1/2 TO 18264' W/ 1350 SX

The time varies from a couple of months to maybe as much as five.  Ensight IV is a new operator with no past history to base a guesstimate on.

One of the owners got a preapplication notice showing long laterals crossing two units and lists Comstock . Has Comstock bought out Ensight LLC?

Recently?  Which two units (sections)?  No, Comstock has not bought out Ensight IV as far as I know.

The letter was dated Feb 14, 2019. It states that Comstock Oil and Gas-Louisiana, LLC intends to make application to utilize 9 lateral cross unit laterals for Haynesville wells in Units HA RA SUH APO 270-MM-2 and HA RA SUI APO 270-MM-6. These units are comprised of Sections 5, 6 ,7 and 8 of T 16N R16 W in the Greenwood-Waskom Field. There is a map showing the laterals. I think the well with the most westerly lateral has already been drilled by Ensight, but is not developed or producing yet.

The Commissioner of the Office of Conservation has recently approved a change in the one operator per unit policy.  Now a unit operator may allow another company to drill HC (Cross Unit Lateral) wells that include one or more their units.  Or, this may simply be a change of unit operator.  We'll see after the hearing date.  The application should be available in the database in the next week or ten days.  Whichever the case, I think it is a good turn of events for mineral owners in those units/sections.  Comstock has a good reputation as a horizontal Haynesville operator and Ensight IV is new and a little bit of an unknown.

I did not have a complete and got the wrong ref.  It is T 15 N R 16 W.  So it is 6 miles south.  Regardless, good news for those owners.

Thanks for the correction.

No progress on these wells by Ensight shown on Sonris for about 3 months. How long can a company delay production after drilling?

They may be delaying completion until they have an agreement with a midstream company to take the gas post-completion.

From what I hear, I think CG is correct.  Bud, there are literally thousands of wells, if not tens of thousands, across major US basins drilled but not completed.  They are called DUCs.  As long as the lease terms are satisfied, there is no restriction on delaying production.  In the case of the Ensight well you are interested in, I do not believe the SONRIS Well Scout report is up to date or fully accurate.  I think the well has been completed but there is a problem with a pipeline connection.  I think that will be solved soon.

SONRIS now shows production at 19.650 mcfd at a choke of 26/64 for one of the wells (unit includes Section 4, 16 N 16 W). Well has lateral of about 10,000 feet. No division orders yet.
